You know how I adore a good trip, and I’m absolutely buzzing to be in Kirkby, ready to share the love of pink tutus with everyone! I just love how vibrant this town is – and by "vibrant" I mean all the lovely pinks! From the candy floss clouds above to the gorgeous pink rose bushes adorning the houses, it's a true dream for a tutu-obsessed gal like me.
Speaking of which, today's look is pure whimsical brilliance, darlings! Picture this: a tulle-filled masterpiece of a pink tutu, adorned with glistening sequins and shimmery beads. The colour is a dream – it's like a sugar plum fairy burst into a rainbow, and I’m channeling it beautifully! I topped it off with a soft, blush-pink silk top and a sprinkle of glitter, just to add that extra oomph. Oh, and let's not forget my trusty pink heels – the ultimate statement in style and elegance, as always.
I simply had to get to Kirkby! This time, my travel method of choice was a journey by horse, a glorious experience I'll never forget! As I trotted along the winding country lanes, I felt like I was starring in my very own fairytale.
Kirkby – A Perfect Fit for Pink Tutu Sparkles
Of course, no Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure would be complete without a spot of culture! I had heard about Kirkby’s amazing theatre, so I took the opportunity to experience a phenomenal performance. It was an absolutely glorious experience, darlings! It truly resonated with me – the beauty of storytelling, the grace of movement, the raw emotion on stage. I was completely captivated by the choreography, especially when the ballerinas were performing en pointe in their fabulous tutus! I couldn't resist snapping a quick selfie for my Instagram – gotta represent, right?! The crowd gave the dancers a well-deserved standing ovation, and I could honestly say I was clapping along harder than anyone else in the entire theatre!
Naturally, the town’s incredible theatre scene reminded me of my days in the university ballet club. I mean, can you believe, I almost ended up a scientist! Those lab coats weren't meant for this fashion queen. It was a pink tutu, a university charity event, and a sudden realization – that was the moment it hit me! I've been wearing my own brand of “lab coats” ever since, using my scientific mind to experiment with makeup and find new ways to be spectacular! My day job, working with fabric, is the perfect complement to my sparkly nights – I'm literally testing the limits of fabulous!
Later that afternoon, I made a beeline for a darling boutique on the High Street that was bursting with colour, style, and sparkle. Naturally, it had a lovely selection of pink tutus – oh my goodness, my heart fluttered like a butterfly with excitement. They were so fabulous and even more importantly they all had beautiful pink hues. I picked up a lovely lace tutu and some fabulously bright pink fluffy hair bows, to help finish off the fabulous look. I just adore indulging in fashion, especially when it comes to finding unique and gorgeous pieces.
Of course, a true Pink Tutu Sparkles experience involves interacting with the fabulous local community! I popped in to the town's local dance studio for a quick lesson in ballet street - who knew ballet moves would be so much fun when you add in street dance moves and sassy struts! The locals were just amazing, especially the adorable little ballerinas. They were just bursting with energy and it was such a delight to see them twirling with smiles on their faces! We even had a mini photo shoot, showing off their stunning ballet tutus and teaching the youngest dancers the ultimate “Pink Tutu Sparkles Pose.”
As the day wrapped up, I felt truly blessed to have visited Kirkby, a charming little town that embraced my love for all things pink and fabulous! From the town's vibrant spirit to its amazing people, this town captured my heart in a most charming and sparkly way! And of course, my mission – the spreading of the Pink Tutu love – has certainly been accomplished.
