Darling darlings, gather round and let's shimmy into another dazzling blog post! Today's adventures find me in the enchanting city of Norwich, and guess what? It's positively pink! Well, maybe not quite yet, but give it time and Pink Tutu Sparkles will work her magic.
Now, this glamorous girl has been itching to hit the road ever since I finished my last string of shows at the Harrogate flower festival. Oh, the delights of the countryside and those beautiful floral displays, just begging for a vibrant pink tutu! (You know, if they only knew how good a vibrant pink tutu would look among the daffodils...).
But this week's journey wasn't going to be a gallop across fields of blossoms, it was time to embrace the steel horse and embark on a grand train adventure to the fair city of Norwich. Oh, the joys of chugging through the English countryside in my most dazzling pink travelling outfit (a vintage pink velvet coat with feather boas and my trusty tutu, naturally!) and sipping on a cup of strong English tea (with a splash of pink lemonade of course!).
Arriving in Norwich felt like stepping into a magical, fairytale setting, all quaint shops, charming buildings and buzzing energy. Even the weather was on my side, throwing a bright sunshine down upon us (it's never quite as brilliant as the rainbow glow of a Pink Tutu Sparkles, but it tried!), just like it was perfectly prepped for the launch of the latest chapter of Pink Tutu Sparkles' glamorous travels.
My first stop was a whirlwind trip to Norwich Cathedral. Let me tell you, my dear blog-friends, it’s as spectacular as they say! Towering spires reaching towards the heavens, stained glass windows that were just bursting with vibrant colour, the history just swirling in the air… oh, the memories it must have seen! It was pure romance and beauty, a moment that really spoke to the pink tutu-loving girl in me, because let's be honest, if they made a Cathedral for a Pink Tutu Queen it would be pink and adorned with thousands of dazzling sequins!
Next up was a stop at the Theatre Royal for a show I just had to see. The story, dear blog readers, involved a love triangle, a dash of espionage and… ballet! Imagine the scene: a glittering ballet with a fabulous pink tutu thrown in (it's just my luck that ballet is always in my heart) - but you'd be wrong, as much as my little heart wished it was there (don't tell them about the tutu!)!
Later that evening, as I was hopping into my Uber to a swanky cocktail bar called "The Tipsy Canary", I caught a glimpse of myself in a shop window, shimmering like a rainbow unicorn in the golden light. This is what it's all about! Bringing a splash of magic and joy into every corner of my journey, reminding the world of the sparkle that's inside every single one of us.
