Hey, darlings! 💖 It's your favourite pink-tutu-wearing diva, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here with blog post number 8018! 💋 As you all know, I'm a firm believer in spreading the joy of pink tutus, and today, I'm bringing my sparkly fabulousness to Luton, baby! 🎉
Luton! A town that's close to my heart for a couple of reasons: one, it's a hop, skip and a jump from my beloved Derbyshire, and two, the theatre scene here is alive and kicking! 🎭 I absolutely adore ballet performances, and knowing Luton has a great one lined up means this is definitely going to be a tutu-tastic trip!
Speaking of tutus, I've been on a real pink spree lately. It all started when I was preparing for this week's performance in St. Albans, where I was lucky enough to score an amazing vintage tutu with actual pearl embellishments. 💎 It's the epitome of glamorous and perfect for any ballerina dreaming of stardom, which just so happens to be me, by the way. 😉
The lovely folk in St. Albans were just so excited to see my pink tutu – and I loved being able to spread some joy, glitz, and twirls with them! ✨ Now, I'm headed to Luton for another fantastic gig. Honestly, I'm such a lucky gal to have this life – combining my passion for ballet and drag!
You'd be surprised how many places I travel to thanks to my drag act. Honestly, sometimes I feel like I’m living in a fairytale – being a queen who takes her show on the road! 💖 I mean, it’s a far cry from my days back in Derbyshire, where I'd spend my days testing fabrics in the lab and my nights dreaming of twirling in pink tutus! 😂 But then, that’s the magic of drag – you can be whoever you want to be. And I, my darlings, choose to be a walking, talking pink tutu fantasy. 😉
Now, let's get to the fun stuff – I always travel by train for a reason, darling! The carriages are the perfect places to work on my moves, and you know I love a bit of dramatic pose when the conductor announces a change in station! 🚄 (Don’t worry, the fellow passengers love it too - they all join in my “twirl!”) I must confess, it's pretty amazing to watch the world whiz by, seeing how differently each little town or village reacts to my colourful presence! 💗 It's just the best feeling to be able to bring a bit of glitter and glamour to even the most unassuming corners of the British Isles.
While I love my train journeys, my ultimate travel dream is to see the world in a pink tutu, of course! But I can only afford one carriage ride at a time. 😉 That’s why I make sure to embrace every adventure, big or small, like my upcoming performance in Luton. This time, I’ve gone all out with my look, a glorious concoction of layers of pink chiffon and delicate tulle! 💎 Honestly, you have to see it to believe it – I look like I just stepped out of a ballet rehearsal in wonderland! 💖 But of course, I'm also planning some special surprises for the Luton audience, because you know I like to make a grand entrance! ✨

Pink Tutu Sparkles: Luton, Luton, Look What You've Done To Me!
- A brand new pink tutu I discovered in a vintage shop in Derby – this baby’s been shimmering away for 60 years! 🤩 I’m not kidding, I almost shed a glitter tear when I found it. I'll admit I didn’t think they made tutus with this much personality back then.
- A matching pink satin corset – hello, darling! 👙 The more glitter, the merrier, so this one has little diamantes on it. (Let's just say that in the world of Pink Tutu Sparkles, too much pink and sparkle is never a bad thing). 😉
- Pink tulle layered gloves with matching butterfly hair clips - think Marie Antoinette but with a rainbow-coloured touch! 💖✨ I simply cannot live without those butterfly clips. They add a bit of sweetness and quirk to every look.
- A fluffy pink feathered boa, for a bit of drama and added softness, darling! ✨ Honestly, you can never have too many feathers!
- And of course, my signature pair of pink sparkly stilettos, for a touch of elegance and sass! 💋 Who needs Cinderella's glass slipper when you can rock some sparkling pink high heels? Not me, that's for sure. ✨
