Oh, darlings! Welcome to Pink Tutu Sparkles' blog! I'm so thrilled to be back with you all after my little adventure to the wonderful town of Ashton. As you know, my life is all about spreading the joy of pink tutus, and this trip was no exception! It's been a while since I've had a proper jaunt on the train, and I just love the feeling of the wind whipping past my sparkly tulle as I speed along. You wouldn't believe how many fellow travellers, both young and old, had a little twirl in their steps! Maybe they're just as captivated by the power of a good pink tutu as I am?

First Stop - A Ballet Masterpiece!
I just love a good ballet performance, and Ashton did not disappoint! The Ashton Ballet Theatre was positively charming. I think this venue has to be one of the oldest theatres in the entire country, which always makes it so exciting to see. I felt transported back in time as I slipped into the velvety red seat of the old auditorium, waiting for the curtains to rise. The performance itself was spectacular! The dancers were simply magnificent. The elegance and grace of ballet never fails to mesmerize me, especially when you see those perfectly executed leaps and turns! I practically felt like I was pirouetting along with them, and for a few glorious moments, it felt like magic.
Second Stop - Tutu Shopping Spree!
You know I couldn't travel to a new place without checking out the local shops, and my search for fabulous pink tutus in Ashton was a roaring success! The little independent boutique called "Threads & Dreams" was a hidden gem! Just imagine a treasure trove of sparkling fabrics, shimmering sequins, and enough lace to fill a dream! I found myself drawn to a stunning ombre pink tutu with a cloud of the softest feathers – just my style, my dears! You'll just have to wait to see the next blog post to see it in all its glory!
Third Stop - Street Style at its Finest!
Now, Ashton has a real buzz about it, don't you know? And the local talent just radiated with so much style! From the vintage clothes shop on the corner where I picked up a sensational sequined cardigan, to the young creatives showing off their latest knitwear, Ashton was brimming with fashion inspiration! And did I mention the stunning display of street art I saw on the old railway bridges? I just couldn't help but snap a few pics of my favourite murals – they definitely screamed 'Ashton'!
Fourth Stop - A Delicious Culinary Journey
No trip is complete without some delectable dining! The old market in Ashton is brimming with local delicacies – it's just what I needed to get my tastebuds tingling. I ended up settling for a delicious bowl of hot soup with fresh bread – the perfect way to warm up after my day of exploration! Let's be honest, though – how can I not mention the local ice cream parlor with a giant pink and sparkly exterior? You see, I couldn't resist picking up a scoop of strawberry ice cream, of course! I'm all about those pink and sparkly touches, even with my desserts.

Ashton truly exceeded my expectations, dears! From the captivating ballet to the dazzling fashion and friendly faces, this town had everything my little pink-tutu loving heart could desire! The energy here was so uplifting, and I'm so excited to have shared a little slice of pink tutu magic with the lovely people of Ashton. It was a trip that certainly sparked some inspiration for my next pink tutu performance.
