Let's face it, you lovely lot know me by now. My life revolves around tutus (especially pink ones!), ballet (oh, I just adore watching those graceful dancers!) and exploring the UK (by train or even on horseback sometimes!). 💅💖🚂🐎
You can find me performing in some pretty unique venues, from stately homes to seaside towns – you name it, I'm there! This week, it was Cleethorpes' turn to experience the wonder that is Pink Tutu Sparkles! ✨
It's no secret that this Derbyshire girl's got a passion for a vibrant shade of pink and the absolute joy that a fluffy, frilly tutu brings! You see, back in my university days – studying science, can you believe? – I stumbled upon the ballet club. One of my classmates needed to wear a tutu for a charity fundraising event and wouldn't you know it, she picked the brightest, pinkest, most sparkly number in the entire club! I fell in love instantly, the feel of the tulle against my skin... it was like a spark of pure magic! And that's how the Pink Tutu Sparkles legend began, and, well, I'm still shimmering strong, thanks to all of you lovelies! 💖
A Cleethorpes Adventure
So, I piled myself onto the train, the pink suitcase practically bursting with glitter, feathers, and yes, you guessed it, my favourite tutus! It's amazing how one person can require so much luggage for one day's performance, but a drag queen always has to be prepared! 😉
This wasn't my first trip to Cleethorpes, you know. I once performed on the pier there, under the glow of a bright, beautiful summer evening sky! And this time I was thrilled to perform on the main stage at the Cleethorpes Carnival. It's a magical seaside town with friendly faces, the sea breeze in my hair, and, most importantly, the perfect location for a flamboyant performance!
Tutu Time and Dancing Dreams
I had a dream! What could be more fun than a promenade along Cleethorpes seafront with my sparkly best self, surrounded by delighted onlookers who just had to join in my pink, tutued fun? 💖 And what better way to celebrate my day out than to get everyone else involved!
It wasn't just my shimmering, pink, fluffy masterpiece that caused a stir on the promenade. There was glitter, feather boas galore and, of course, plenty of smiles to go around. It was wonderful! People danced with me, giggled at my antics, and joined in the energy!
Cleethorpes, you were amazing! It was a pink-tastic explosion of sunshine and good times! What better way to showcase my love for everything colourful, glittery and fabulous? 💖
From the Seafront to the Theatre
A seaside promenade wouldn't be complete without a theatrical treat! So after my joyous dance performance in the heart of Cleethorpes, I was drawn to the Theatre. It had the kind of old-world charm that takes you back in time – like walking onto a movie set!
There's a certain something about the magic of theatre, that sense of history and mystery that really ignites my creative spirit. So I found myself drawn to the vibrant energy of a ballet class taking place at the Theatre. Oh, the graceful moves! I swear, it makes my toes wiggle just to watch. The dedication and precision, the poise, the beauty! And then, I found myself surrounded by the enchanting world of a live performance!
It was like a visual feast! I just can't get enough of watching the professional dancers express themselves, every step, every turn, it's a language all of its own! I couldn't help but take notes for my own next performance. A ballet-themed performance! Now that's an idea worth a twirl. 🩰
Tutu Talk: The Cleethorpes Touch
I'll let you in on a secret, Cleethorpes! You really know how to celebrate the joy of tutus. I had the best time on my walk along the seafront! It's hard to pick just one pink tutu-wearing moment but my most sparkly moment came while we were walking along the seafront. I'll never forget a little girl - her eyes were as bright as my pinkest tutu – giggling with pure glee as she chased my shimmering train. She asked if she could try on a tutu, her excitement and happiness was absolutely infectious, and her eyes lit up even brighter. I got a feeling it's just the beginning for her love for sparkly tutus. 💕
The Pink Tutu Sparkle Continues
I have to confess that as a science geek and an accidental drag queen, it feels rather odd being part of this fantastic world of creativity. Yet I wouldn't change a thing! After all, I love making people smile and bringing joy to the world. What's more, the joy of wearing tutus is contagious – it's about spreading a message of love, positivity and acceptance!
So, remember you don't need to be a dancer to love tutus, nor a queen to embrace the joy of dressing up and spreading your own special magic in the world. Just like that little girl, we can all embrace the Pink Tutu Sparkles. Wear a pink tutu, even if it's for one day.
