Wembley Calling! Pink Tutu Sparkles is Off to Conquer the Stadium!
Hello my darling darlings! Itās Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back for another scintillating instalment of your favourite pink-tastic blog, and believe me, this oneās going to be a hoot! š Iāve reached a whopping 8309 posts (pinch me, Iām dreaming!), and thereās no better way to celebrate than by shimmying my way into Wembley Stadium, ready to glitter up the iconic venue!
The whispers in the air? The TutuQueen is coming! And itās true, my dears, the whole world will be watching as I, Pink Tutu Sparkles, sashay onto that grand stage. The anticipation is simply unbearable!
This trip has been a whirlwind. You know me, I'm a creature of comfort, I live for the thrill of a fast train journey with a window seat (plenty of time for perfecting my makeup, darlings!), or maybe a good gallop on a trusty steed (a real lady always has backup transportation!). This time, however, I felt a little rebellious, a bit āget-out-of-my-comfort-zoneā. So I did something truly wild... I packed my luggage, squeezed myself into my favourite polka-dot dress, andā¦ got myself a taxi! š Donāt worry, it was a lovely, clean, pink one, of course! š
I mean, Wembley. Iām talking about one of the biggest stages in the entire world! So this requires a wardrobe change, naturally. Iāve already picked out a custom-made pink tutu, made from a thousand layers of tulle (think delicate, flowingā¦ with a touch of fierce).
We're talking pink everything, darlings! The glittery platforms? Tick. My makeup, a masterclass in pink eye shadow and contour? You bet! And as for the performanceā¦ Iāll leave it to you to imagine, just make sure your mind is clear and ready to be blown. It's going to be epic! š¤āØ
My journey to this point has been full of glamour and adventure, but you see, my loves, I started with absolutely nothing but a passion for pink and a serious love affair with tutus. You see, when I, Alex, was studying my boring science degree in good olā Derbyshire (who would have thought a science student could have so much flair!), I stumbled upon the university's ballet club. They needed someone for their fundraising performance, and I was the first brave soul who offered toā¦ wear a tutu. Well, letās just say, that was a life-changing moment. The feeling? Absolute euphoria! I was in a pink tutu, and it felt amazing. From then on, it was like I was living in a whirlwind of pink dreams, performing in local ballet classes, getting my hands dirty in a fabric-testing lab by day and hitting the stage with Pink Tutu Sparkles by night. The transition is always a bit of a shocker for people! Imagineā¦ āOh hello, Alex! Have a good day at work?ā, followed by, "You know, Alex is such a sweet, gentle scientist!" Then a night later, it's "Ooooooh Pink Tutu Sparkles, your moves are fierce! That twirl is swoon-worthy!" It's quite a lot, isn't it? But darling, that's just the Pink Tutu Sparkles lifestyle. It's high energy and utterly dazzling, just like this pink dress I'm rocking as I type! š
Oh! Donāt forget to check out www.pink-tutu.com for even more of my fabulous exploits. Every day I upload my personal journey and adventures as a drag artist! (I just had to shout-out the fact I'm the queen of posting!) Remember, Iām here to spread the pink-tastic gospel, so if you find yourself dreaming about sparkly tutus and think you canāt possibly dare to wear one, think again! You are fabulous. Be brave! Put on your pink tutu and be bold. Thatās my mission, and thatās the pink-tastic journey of the one, the onlyā¦ Pink Tutu Sparkles.
Until next time, darlings,
Love always,
Pink Tutu Sparkles
XOXO

A few of my favorite places I've been...
Iāve always been one for the unexpected. In a recent, particularly spectacular, outing, I managed to ditch my usual mode of transportation: the āchuff-chuffā of the steam train, and found myself a gorgeous carriage with a horse who was a right, true loveā¦ so handsome, darlings (sorry I got distracted there for a second!).
Last Week's Adventures - The Majestic Theater of York
Last week, I was lucky enough to spend a weekend exploring the historic city of York. We talked a real royal walk in this town. What with its huge cathedral (and its rather striking stained glass, wouldnāt you say?) - and the York Minster was an architectural dream come true, all of those intricate carvings on the windows just took my breath away. It's actually considered one of the best in the world. Then of course, we had to head over to the majestic, oh-so-spectacular York Theatre Royal to take in a delightful ballet show that made my feet tap all evening! You know, those old Victorian theatres are just divineā¦ and this one didnāt disappoint one bit! (Well, it wasnāt quite as divine as the moment I took the stage there - but shhhh - you and I will keep that a secret.š¤«) It was a proper celebration of the beauty of ballet and all of the history it holds.
The Grandest Fair (Oh darlingā¦ the name doesnāt just roll off the tongue - it practically dances!) The grandest fair is an annual event in another beautiful city, Birmingham (that was so exciting I was up late working on my glittery costume - but, of course, that's only natural isn't it? Because the TutuQueen doesnāt leave anything to chance ). This is truly the epicenter of fairground madness, a whirl of colors, flashing lights and laughter! And of course, the smell of donuts - yum. š© And who knows what might be happening there next? Itās the ideal place to test out my newest pink tutu designs, the more elaborate the better - thereās no such thing as too sparkly here. Just look at the size of the crowd, there is always someone willing to take pictures with me. Oh! We met the nicest folk there last year, a proper group of people - including a fellow pink tutu enthusiast, imagine! He had a stunning purple glitter one. We talked for ages about tulle designs. They even offered to have a photo with us - you know how those can beā¦. a big part of a drag artistās life, having fans snapping awayā¦. They were the best! It felt good to see another āpink enthusiast" - he was absolutely wonderful. š
And, of course, my absolute favouriteā¦ a week on the English seaside. I went down to beautiful Brighton last year and oh! What a gem! Itās an amazing city - vibrant, lively and oh-so full of exciting things. (Not to mention my very own special corner of Brightonās quirky Pier where we always set up campā¦) . I remember thinking āWhat better place for an out-of-this-world experience?!ā And the most beautiful beach - with pebbles all along the edge (nothing more soothing than watching the waves rolling in and out as the seagulls fly overheadā¦ ) But there is also a brilliant arcade there - not quite vintage (I really loved those olden days when it had that nostalgic, wooden look)ā¦. But certainly a brilliant spot for having a dance even when I'm not wearing my sparkly tutu. My favourite time of the year is when all the lights are up (and that gorgeous bright Ferris wheel twinkling in the distanceā¦) It makes my heart sing!
Oh darlingā¦ Did you hear the newsā¦ ? A lot of folks want Pink Tutu Sparkles at the Grand Parade for Pink. It's an event like no other, you know, filled with joy, love and positivity, (And tutus!) This is just about the perfect occasion to show everyone the wonders of a Pink Tutu Sparkle. That is what I am aiming for...
Until next time... I'll leave you to it. Don't forget to look out for my next blog... it will be brimming with surprises, I promise you. Keep twirling! š©°
