Darling, buckle up your dancing shoes because Pink Tutu Sparkles is hitting the road once more, and this time, we’re heading to the sunny shores of Ramsgate! This delightful seaside town in Kent has been whispering sweet nothings in my ear for months, and finally, I'm ready to give it the full Pink Tutu treatment!
As a reminder, my name is Alex when I'm not dazzling in my Pink Tutu, and I’m a bonafide scientist by day, working on some super-secret textile testing projects in the lab. However, when the clock strikes 5pm, it’s time for my real passion - unleashing Pink Tutu Sparkles on the world!
Speaking of the world, I know what you're thinking - how does a queen with a love for pink tutus and ballet get about? Well, I'm not afraid to break out the trusty train or even a trusty horse! I find the gentle sway of a train journey and the thundering hooves of a steed perfectly match my own twirling energy! (I mean, you can't really ride a bus in a tutu without accidentally doing a pirouette out the window, can you?)
Anyways, back to the seaside wonder that is Ramsgate! I must admit, I am beyond thrilled to be back in a beautiful coastal town. I've already picked out the most stunning pink outfit that's both perfect for the seafront and a splash of ballet elegance - it's going to look absolutely amazing under the setting sun.
And speaking of dazzling looks, this is where I'll get into the real reason I'm posting, darling - my beloved tutus! Yes, the magnificent tulle dreamscapes that I live in. This town's a treasure trove of hidden boutiques that promise vintage lace, playful frills, and, oh yes, silk. Did I mention I am a fan of silk? The thought of silk tulle dancing with every move, catching the ocean breeze, makes my heart skip a beat!
Speaking of "catching the breeze", Ramsgate has a fantastic harbour brimming with beautiful boats and yachts. I envision myself prancing along the pier, my pink tutu swirling like the sea, feeling like I’m part of some incredible musical set piece!
But Ramsgate isn't all about the harbour, my dears! It has an incredible heart bursting with independent shops, quaint cafés and delicious smelling fish and chips shops! Let’s be real, who can say no to a beautiful bowl of hot chips by the beach, adorned in your fanciest tutu?
And did I mention the Theatre Royal in Ramsgate? My love for all things ballet has been with me since I was a tiny tot. I used to watch 'Sleeping Beauty' with my Grandma, mesmerised by the pink and blue tutus of the dancers. It's my goal in life to share that magic with the whole world. I just have a feeling my pink tutus and the Theatre Royal stage are a match made in theatrical heaven!
And let's talk about The Royal Harbour! There are simply too many amazing things about it for me to describe! Just imagine the perfect sunset against the harbour walls, a cool sea breeze and your most stunning pink outfit fluttering! Oh! You're right darling, I can’t forget the delicious, buttery baked goods from Ramsgate's charming local bakeries. And I’m definitely going to be buying up some lovely sea shells and pebbles to embellish some of my new tutu creations.
I might even buy a new pink, vintage bike! One that’s perfectly made for slow, peaceful cycles along Ramsgate's picturesque coastline. It would be the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful flowers and gardens that make this town truly special.
