This town, nestled in the heart of Lancashire, was radiating with a welcoming warmth that simply melted my glitter-coated heart. The people, the food, the architecture - all simply exquisite! I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the loveliest people before the performance, and let me tell you, their enthusiasm was as bright and bubbly as a bottle of champagne! It was a truly heartwarming reminder of why I do what I do. To bring smiles, joy, and a sprinkle of sparkle into people's lives.
The stage at Farnworth Arts Centre is a truly magical space. Stepping onto the stage felt like entering another world. A world filled with magic, colour, and, of course, the most spectacular lights! As I took to the stage, my heart danced with excitement, fuelled by the vibrant energy of the crowd. Their applause felt like a warm embrace, and it filled me with a sense of pure euphoria. I poured my heart and soul into each performance, hoping to leave them with memories that would sparkle brighter than any diamond.
One of my absolute highlights, and let's be honest, the entire reason I do what I do, is to witness the absolute delight on the faces of children as I perform. Seeing their wide eyes sparkle with wonder and joy simply melts my heart. It reminds me of the magic that exists in the world, and the joy that can be found in the simplest of things, like a shimmering pink tutu.
Now, darlings, you know I can't travel without a little retail therapy! Farnworth surprised me with an absolute haven of delightful boutiques. I simply couldn't resist picking up a couple of additions to my pink tutu wardrobe. You know how much I adore shopping, and Farnworth's shopping scene simply couldn't be beat! Oh, and don't forget about the local markets, bursting with beautiful handmade crafts, yummy local produce, and even some delicious, mouthwatering fudge. I managed to snag myself a gorgeous little trinket from the local craft stall, perfect for my collection. And oh, the fudge! I'll leave you to imagine how much of that I devoured!
As a self-proclaimed ballet enthusiast, my trip to Farnworth simply wouldn't have been complete without a visit to their esteemed ballet school. The dancers, young and old, were brimming with talent and grace, their movements flowing with such elegant beauty. They reminded me of my own ballet dreams, of the countless hours I've spent swirling and pirouetting in the dance studio. The school's lovely teachers, all of them former dancers themselves, were incredibly friendly and inspiring, and I found myself reminiscing about my own experiences as a budding ballerina.

It's the reason why I love travelling, the unexpected connections and genuine moments of connection with complete strangers.
