Gloucester, for those of you who don't know, is a beautiful city nestled right in the heart of Gloucestershire. They have an amazing cathedral, a charming historic city centre, and – best of all – a stunning theatre where I had the pleasure of performing last night. And yes, darlings, of course, I wore a pink tutu!
You know how I am, I absolutely adore a bit of glitz and glamour, and Gloucester certainly didn’t disappoint. The second I arrived, I felt a buzz of excitement. It was like the whole city was radiating energy and good vibes! And you can't have a good time without a touch of sparkle, right? So naturally, my outfit had to be something special!
A Dash of Fashion with a Tutu Twist!
For this performance, I decided to go for a vintage look. Think old-school Hollywood glam with a tutu twist. I chose a stunning pink satin dress, complete with a sweeping train and some glamorous diamante detailing. A sprinkle of pink glitter eyeshadow, a rosy blush and some bright pink lipstick added a touch of theatre magic, and of course, the whole ensemble was completed by my signature fluffy pink tutu.

You see, it's more than just a piece of clothing, darlings. A pink tutu is a symbol of freedom, creativity, and the pure joy of expressing yourself. And you know what? I’m on a mission to inspire everyone, everywhere to unleash their inner pink tutu spirit!
Gloucester, Get Ready to Sparkle!
Before the performance, I took a walk around the city centre and it was amazing to see so many people out and about, embracing the day. The energy was electric! Everywhere I went, I spread my own special brand of sparkly joy and reminded everyone that life is just a little bit brighter with a dash of pink in it!
After a delicious afternoon tea in a cute café (a pink macaroon, naturally!) it was time for me to get ready for my show. As I prepped in my dressing room, surrounded by glitter and feathers, a thrill ran through me. The crowd was ready, and Pink Tutu Sparkles was about to take the stage!
The Show Must Go On!
This particular performance was a cabaret style show – with a dash of burlesque, a splash of drag and, of course, a generous sprinkling of glitter! We had singers, dancers, comedians, the works! I even managed to sneak in a bit of a ballet routine (just because I can’t resist the graceful movement!), and you know what, the audience loved it! It's incredible to see how a good performance can truly connect with people on an emotional level.
Meeting My Fan Club
The highlight of the night, though, had to be meeting the people who came to watch me perform! Every interaction, every smile, every cheer – it’s truly the fuel that drives my passion. After the show, I spent ages talking with people and having photographs with fans, so much joy! You see, spreading kindness and sharing laughter is what it’s all about, darlings. And honestly, the happiest place for me is surrounded by a bunch of happy, sparkly people who’ve had a fabulous night!
From Science Lab to Stage!
Speaking of inspiration, I just wanted to say a little bit about how I got started in this whole drag world. It might surprise some of you, but my “day job”, so to speak, is in the science lab, testing fabrics! My day job and my drag persona seem worlds apart, but they actually have a lot more in common than you might think. Both are about creativity, passion, and expressing yourself, and both require you to push yourself beyond your comfort zone.
The truth is, it was my time at university that ignited my love for pink tutus and sparked the idea to share it with the world! While studying for my science degree, I was a member of the university's ballet club and was dared to wear a tutu for charity. I've always been fascinated by fabrics, but something about the swirling, flowing layers of a tutu… it's just so incredibly, wonderfully...pink! And after trying it on for the first time, it was like I felt a whole new dimension open up!
More Adventures to Come
Gloucester has truly been an unforgettable experience, and it's just the start of many more pink-tastic adventures. The next leg of my tour is already planned (more on that soon!), and I'm already bubbling with excitement. I just know that there are so many more incredible places out there waiting to be discovered, and so many more people who are ready to wear their inner pink tutus.
