I'm just bursting with excitement, because as you know, Blackpool is one of my all-time favourite destinations. A weekend by the seaside, the fresh sea air, the buzzing promenade, and the delicious fish and chips… It's the perfect place for a pink-tutu-wearing gal to recharge her batteries!
This week, however, I'm not just hitting the beach – I'm taking the stage! Yes, that's right, your girl is performing in Blackpool! The excitement is literally overflowing my sparkly pink heels, and you can bet your bottom dollar that this is gonna be a night to remember.
So, where are we going, you ask? Well, dear readers, we're stepping into the enchanting world of the Grand Theatre Blackpool, the jewel in the crown of Blackpool's entertainment scene! They're hosting the ‘Stars of Blackpool' event, and you bet your bottom dollar Pink Tutu Sparkles is one of the starlets they've got booked! I can't wait to grace their grand stage and share a little sprinkle of pink magic with everyone in attendance.

Before I leave my humble Derbyshire abode, I must of course pack my travel essentials – namely, enough sequins to make a disco ball jealous, enough lipstick to rival a theatre store, and, of course, my ever-so-important feather boa. There will also be plenty of sparkly pink outfits to pack, in anticipation of a whole day's shopping spree in the gorgeous seaside town. You just can’t have enough sparkly clothes, especially not when you're a pink-loving, glitter-throwing, tutu-wearing goddess.
I love everything about Blackpool, from the amusement rides on the pier (perfect for getting those adrenaline levels pumped before a show!) to the historic architecture that echoes with past grandeur, the bustling fish markets full of the freshest catch, to the smell of popcorn and candyfloss that wafts through the air. It's a magical place, a melting pot of nostalgia, amusement, and entertainment – a veritable wonderland for a sparkly pink queen like me!
But I’m not just all about having a blast, you know! I've been practicing my dance routines tirelessly. And for this particular performance, I'm adding a little bit of local flavor to my usual choreography – just imagine, a vibrant pink tutu meets the energetic rhythm of the Blackpool Promenade! This performance is going to be bigger, brighter, and more bodacious than anything I've ever done before, and I'm already counting down the seconds till the curtains rise.
My travel to Blackpool will be by train this time! A scenic journey through rolling countryside, watching the world glide by. What’s a train journey without a fellow pink-loving adventurer?
