This is post number 8847, and I just love sharing my fabulous life with you. Today's adventures are going to be a real treat, full of sunshine, shopping, and some very exciting news! I've been travelling by train for most of the day, but don't worry, I brought my comfy pink slippers for the journey! The scenery outside the window is gorgeous, just like me, you know? 😉
This trip to Scunthorpe started because of a local fair I'm performing at this evening! I love doing fairs and festivals, because you never know who you're going to meet! People often say to me, "Alex, how do you manage to travel so much?" Well, it's simple, lovelies! I hustle! I drag queen on the side, so I travel to all sorts of amazing places, all to spread the love of pink tutus! You'll see me everywhere - festivals, pubs, even a school fête recently! You never know, I could be showing up in a town near you!
But back to my lovely day! Let me tell you, Scunthorpe has got it going on. I decided to pop into a little shop earlier and discovered the most wonderful vintage dress shop! All my lovely readers know how much I adore a good frock. It was literally pink heaven - everything from fabulous flapper dresses to amazing cocktail gowns. You should have seen me trying them all on! I felt like a proper pink princess! 😍
After a bite to eat, it was off to the theatre. Yes, my lovelies, I had tickets to the local amateur ballet company's production of Swan Lake! I'm absolutely addicted to the ballet. I try to see as many shows as I can, and this one didn't disappoint! Such talent! And did I tell you, I had the most beautiful pink tutu on? Yes, you guessed it - I can't resist the temptation to accessorize even in the audience! 🩰💖
You see, my lovelies, being a drag queen isn't just about performing; it's about spreading positivity, acceptance, and glitter! We bring a touch of magic to the world. And there's nothing more magical than twirling in a pink tutu! This isn't just a fashion choice, it's a way of life, a statement that says, "Look at me, I'm beautiful, and I'm happy to be different." 💖
Right now, as I'm writing this, I'm back in my hotel room getting ready for my performance! And what's a girl going to wear for her show? Yes, you guessed it - a pink tutu, darling!
