It really is the perfect way to get to places like this lovely seaside town. It’s so much more fun than driving and can make you feel a lot more like a whimsical, fairytale princess! Plus, you get to enjoy a cheeky afternoon tea on board. You can’t say no to a scone and clotted cream while wearing a pink tutu, now can you?
Anyway, after a gloriously sunny journey, I finally reached the picturesque seaside town of Scarborough, ready to shimmy my way into the heart of it all! Let’s face it, any location is good when you've got your fabulous pink tutu on, but something about the quaint streets and sea-salt air really made my inner diva dance!
A Sparkly Sojourn at the Theatre Royal
I've got to tell you, Scarborough is absolutely buzzing with energy and life! The Theatre Royal was my first port of call - what could be better than a spot of Shakespeare with my pink tutu on? Don't get me wrong, the theatre is gorgeous, darling. There’s something really special about the history of these old buildings. But my tutu and I were a vision in pink amidst the plush velvet seats and historic architecture. Just imagine, the locals watching me in a fluffy pink tutu, all smiles and fabulousness, as I waltzed my way in for the performance!
Oh, and let's not forget the food! It wouldn't be a Pink Tutu Sparkle adventure without some yummy treats. Scarborough doesn't disappoint, with the most delicious fish and chips, followed by an elegant ice cream sundae. The ice cream shop I visited even had a pink tutu themed sundae (I might have gone slightly overboard and had two).

Shopping on the streets of Scarborough is a complete delight! The quirky boutiques and charming independent shops were a haven for my fabulous sense of style. I just had to pick up some more sparkly embellishments to spruce up my tutu. It’s all about finding those little touches that make an outfit absolutely magical, you see!
And what’s a coastal adventure without some tea? A leisurely afternoon tea, enjoyed with friends, is always a treat! My companions and I gossiped over a plate of sandwiches, cakes, and, of course, freshly brewed tea. All whilst rocking my pink tutu! What can I say, I just can't resist the urge to spread my love for the perfect tulle-y companion!
The night was as fabulous as the day, my loves. A friend had booked us a table at the most adorable little restaurant. My outfit turned heads as I twirled into the eatery with a huge smile, my pink tutu catching the flickering candlelight.
