Hey sweeties! It’s your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles here, signing in from my usual spot on the glamorous side of the interwebs, for blog post number 8930, if you can believe it! (Honestly, I've lost count!) 💅💖 Today, we're heading North, darling! Worksop, a lovely town that has a certain charming, old-world appeal. The air smells of freshly cut grass and carnations, which is kind of appropriate given my sparkly, floral theme, don’t you think? 😉

Now, let's get down to the nitty-gritty. Why am I in Worksop? Well, you know me, darling! I love bringing the magic of Pink Tutu Sparkles to as many corners of the UK as possible! 🇬🇧 I've been blessed with the opportunity to perform at a fabulous fundraising event here in town. The theme was “Festival of Colour”, and you know what's more colourful than Pink Tutu Sparkles?! … Nothing! 😜 It was a true delight to sprinkle some fairy dust onto Worksop – the locals are absolutely wonderful! And what's a true drag queen without a little sightseeing, right? Let’s go for a little tour!

Since my heart truly belongs to the rail network, this adventure started with a rather stylish journey by train! The train carriage was just overflowing with vibrant life and laughter. There was a group of school kids on their way to a school trip and a sweet older couple celebrating their anniversary. And then there was me – looking as fabulous as always, radiating all the glitz and glamour. 😎

I managed to snag the window seat, perfect for observing the countryside rush by, its beauty mirrored by my oh-so-pretty pink ensemble. Honestly, even on a normal train journey, I'm a sight to behold – but in Worksop? Darling, I was practically royalty!

Arriving in Worksop was like stepping into a time capsule! There’s so much character in the cobblestone streets, traditional buildings, and vibrant community spirit. My first stop? The stunning Worksop Priory. Built in 1103! You couldn’t drag me away! There's something undeniably romantic about standing within the ancient walls of a place steeped in so much history. It made me reflect on the importance of embracing our heritage, while staying true to ourselves – just like Pink Tutu Sparkles.

And let's not forget, Worksop is known for its stunning parks, with The Memorial Gardens and the charming Priory Gardens being favourites for locals and visitors alike. There's so much peace and beauty to be found in these little pockets of nature, especially after the bustle of London, it was like a sweet little break!

Now, one of the highlights of my trip to Worksop was meeting the incredible people who make this place so special. The community here is so friendly and warm! Even my sparkly pink tutu and glitzy heels didn't raise a single eyebrow, it was all about accepting everyone for who they are. It reminded me just how important it is to spread love and positivity wherever we go! 🥰

A local artisan stall caught my eye. Their handmade pottery was just stunning! You'd never believe the level of artistry and skill these people possessed – true Worksop gems. And can you believe the kindness of these strangers? They gifted me with a gorgeous pink and purple teapot – just perfect for my tea parties. My love of all things pretty is well documented. They had clearly heard of my Pink Tutu Sparkle Tea Party – which by the way, is the perfect place to enjoy a delicate cucumber sandwich and a cup of the finest Earl Grey.

Of course, no Pink Tutu Sparkles trip would be complete without a dazzling performance. And in Worksop, I gave my all, delivering a heartfelt set filled with laughter, glamour, and enough sparkles to rival the night sky! 🌟

And you know what? The Worksop crowd just loved it! Their smiles were contagious, their applause deafening! And they were genuinely curious to know about me – who is Pink Tutu Sparkles, how do I manage to pull it all off, what message I am trying to share with the world. The most frequently asked questions were - "Where can we buy one of those beautiful pink tutus?!" Well, darlings, you can't buy magic – but you can get yourself one of my handmade pink tutus - I have a special deal for any Worksop residents! 😉

For my return trip, I wanted to experience the tranquility of the countryside and soak in the stunning scenery. So what better way to travel than on horseback! You see, a lot of people don't know that Pink Tutu Sparkles is an absolute horse whisperer – a true equestrienne! The stables where I rented my horse were quaint, charming and they offered some stunning views over the hills – reminding me that even my trips involve nature’s grace.

This ride was a true ballet on horseback - graceful, powerful and truly captivating! 🩰 Imagine me - in my sparkling pink tutu, riding across fields of wildflowers with the gentle sun on my face and the wind whipping through my hair. It's the closest you can get to experiencing my spirit. Honestly, I almost considered trying out for the horse ballet, it felt that good!

This was such a magical, heartfelt trip – leaving behind nothing but happy memories and twinkling fairy dust!
