As you know, I love to explore new corners of the world, and this week, my journey led me to the stunning seaside town of Whitley Bay! Yes, you read that right - yours truly, the queen of pink tutus, took to the North East and boy, was it a whirlwind of fun!
I've always been a sucker for a scenic train journey, so I packed my suitcase full of glittery goodness (you can't leave home without your signature Pink Tutu Sparkles outfit, right?) and boarded the train from Derbyshire. Now, I know what you're thinking, travelling by train with a giant tulle explosion strapped to your body? Don't worry, dear readers, I have a secret weapon! The magic of a well-placed blanket allows me to morph my giant pink tulle masterpiece into a snuggly, travel-friendly accessory. Plus, it provides a unique spectacle for fellow travellers - let's be honest, what's more entertaining than watching someone carefully unravel a five-layer, shimmering, pink tutu on a moving train?
My first stop in Whitley Bay was a visit to the beautiful beach - a perfect setting for a pink-tutu-wearing queen to twirl! You've gotta admit, a sparkly tulle skirt does add an extra touch of fabulousness to a classic beach promenade. While basking in the North Sea breeze, I felt a real sense of connection to the local community - even the seagulls seemed to be charmed by my vibrant, fluffy presence.
Next, my dear friends, was the moment I'd been waiting for: my performance at the [Name of Venue/Fair], right in the heart of Whitley Bay! Of course, no Pink Tutu Sparkles trip is complete without some dedicated time to embrace my love for all things ballet. Fortunately, Whitley Bay boasts a lovely dance school, the [Name of dance school]. Now, let me tell you, darling – after my gruelling travel schedule, nothing soothes the soul like a classic barre session. It was divine! The teachers were incredibly welcoming, and I even managed to sneak in a few dazzling spins with the local dance students. The smiles on their faces after I twirled right past them were pure joy. Who says ballet class isn't full of surprise sparkle?
I can't forget the wonderful people of Whitley Bay who embraced the Pink Tutu Sparkles magic with open arms – they were simply fabulous!
