Hello my darlings! It’s your favourite pink-loving, tutu-wearing queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, ready to share another sparkly adventure with you! Today's post is a special one, because I'm finally taking my glitter and grace to the gorgeous city of Wellington, New Zealand!

This incredible journey has been a long time coming, ever since I stumbled across a photo of Wellington's stunning harbour nestled amongst those green hills. Honestly, it looked like something straight out of a fairytale! The kind of setting that just screams "pink tutu".

I've always had this deep desire to explore the world, to discover its beauty and charm. And for me, there’s no better way to travel than on a grand train adventure! I love the gentle rocking of the carriage, the clinking of the tracks, and the way the scenery flies past, a blur of colour and excitement.

Imagine it, my loves: I’m sitting in a plush compartment, nestled in amongst velvet cushions and antique brass, a giant pink tutu cascading over the seats. And of course, there's not a single hair out of place! I’m rocking a perfectly executed vintage bouffant, a pair of rose-tinted sunglasses, and a lipstick so vibrant it could rival a cherry blossom! I wouldn't want to be seen looking anything less than utterly fabulous while travelling in such style, darling!

For a true pink tutu girl, the journey is as important as the destination, and I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a trip to remember!

I’ll be performing a special Pink Tutu Extravaganza in Wellington, and let me tell you, I've been working hard to bring you a show brimming with sparkly joy!

I can already picture it: a packed house, roaring with laughter and cheers, my tutu twirling in the stage lights, every inch of my heart overflowing with pure, unadulterated joy! I’m a total sucker for a good time, and my passion for performing just knows no bounds!

And guess what? You're not the only ones eager for this trip! I’ve been dreaming of meeting you lovely lot! This whole pink tutu adventure began thanks to your endless support. I can't thank you enough for your positive vibes and enthusiasm, for cheering me on as I chase my wildest dreams.

I’ve already started brainstorming ideas for some delightful performances and even dreamt up some spectacularly flamboyant outfits. From head-turning ensembles to choreographed routines that'll have you shimmying in your seats, it’s all going to be pure, fabulous fun!

I have to confess, a small part of me wishes I could take a grand tour on a horse, gallopping across rolling hills, the wind whipping through my hair! I imagine it’s pure, exhilarating freedom!

There’s something just so utterly magical about horses! Their graceful strides, their elegant strength, their unwavering loyalty. Not to mention they’re simply stunning creatures! They embody everything I adore in this world – beauty, freedom, and boundless spirit!

You know what else makes this trip even more magical? It’s all happening in September, my favourite month of the year! It’s when everything feels crisp and alive, just like a perfectly chosen pink tutu! The sun is warm but not overly oppressive, perfect for a twirling adventure.

Many of you already know my day job is a little bit different from my nighttime adventures as Pink Tutu Sparkles. By day I’m a humble scientist, meticulously testing the composition and strength of fabrics in my laboratory. Now, I wouldn’t have it any other way! There’s something endlessly satisfying about unravelling the mysteries hidden within the fabrics we wear!

My scientific side definitely adds a unique dimension to my drag. After all, my signature pink tutu wouldn’t be complete without meticulous care and consideration. That intricate layered tulle, that delicate stitching, and those cascading bows, each element crafted to perfection! I spend hours scouring fabrics markets, sifting through sequins and shimmering tulle, ensuring that every inch of my Pink Tutu Sparkles outfit reflects my passion for colour and detail.

You could say it's the ultimate fusion of scientific precision and creative flair. Who needs to pick between the lab and the stage when you can have both?!

Remember the old saying, “curiosity killed the cat”? Well, in my case, it gave me Pink Tutu Sparkles!

Back in the days when I was a mere student, I stumbled upon a student fundraising event at the University. My uni days were a total blast, and I joined the ballet club purely because I love to twirl and move my body. So there I was, in the middle of a student party, surrounded by laughter and music, when my eyes fell on a gloriously pink tutu. A vintage beauty with soft tulle and delicate details!

Being a science nerd, I wanted to study its composition – what fibres made up this magnificent piece? What were its unique properties? Before I knew it, I was pulled into a little impromptu fashion show, twirling in front of everyone in a glorious pink cloud of tulle!

Let's just say the reaction was explosive! The applause, the roaring laughter, and those radiant smiles - the entire experience sparked something inside me, a magical moment of self-discovery. I found a love for performing, a love for the glitz, the glamour, and the joy of making others happy. From that moment, I knew my true path, a path sprinkled with glitter and twirls!

My heart was set, and Pink Tutu Sparkles was born.

And the rest, my lovelies, is a story of boundless joy, spectacular performances, and spreading glitter everywhere I go.

But what is life without a few sparkles?! It's about those moments, big or small, where we let our inner light shine. Where we wear a tutu with pride and dare to dance to our own beat! I’ve been spreading my message of pink-tutu-fueled joy far and wide, encouraging everyone to embrace their own personal brand of fun and extravagance!
