This trip marks a rather exciting change of pace from my usual adventures. My schedule, my darlings, has been a whirlwind of theatrical performances in quaint market towns, ballet shows in stunning grand halls, and the occasional gig at a village fete. However, this time I'm doing things a bit differently. No glitzy theatres, no traditional performances. Instead, I'm excited to be bringing a little bit of Pink Tutu Sparkles to the people of Colchester in the form of a grand, joyous, utterly unforgettable drag brunch. 🥂💖
But before I get to the festivities, let's talk travel, my lovelies! I have to say, I'm absolutely besotted with train travel. You see, for me, there's something absolutely delightful about the gentle sway of the carriage, the calming rhythm of the train tracks, and the panoramic views of the British countryside that unfold before my eyes. Especially when paired with a spot of afternoon tea, with cucumber sandwiches, delectable pastries, and a cuppa that is most definitely pink - that's the life! 😉 It just adds to the theatricality of my journeys! But, for this trip, I decided to take a spin on my favourite mode of transport: horseback! I know, you might be thinking "A horse, Alex? Why not a train?" But hear me out! Nothing says "Pink Tutu Sparkles" like a gallop across rolling countryside, with the wind whipping my pink tulle, my fabulous feather boa trailing behind like a shimmering, rainbow flag! 🌈 It just brings out the free spirit in me. Of course, let's be real - it wasn't exactly the most convenient, but I'll happily face any challenge when a beautiful, fluffy, pink-tutu-worthy horse awaits. 🐎💖
As we speak, I'm nestled snugly on the train, sipping on a deliciously pink raspberry and vanilla tea (which I will admit is absolutely vital to get me through any travel journey!)
