Today's post is extra special, coming to you all the way from the historic and charming city of Chester. 🏰✨ I can practically hear the echoes of history whispering through these ancient walls!
This is post number 9096 for you lovely lot, so grab a cuppa, a slice of cake, and settle in for a fabulous adventure. 😉 This trip to Chester has been one for the books! A whirlwind of tutus, tea, and the most amazing ballet class ever!
I always find travelling by train such a delightful experience, particularly when it involves rocking my favourite pink tutu on the way. 💖🚂 Imagine it: the sleek leather seats, the gentle rhythm of the wheels, and me in my tulle finery, radiating joy and whimsy, like a sparkling beacon of pink happiness. The other passengers just love to see me! 🤩
Speaking of radiant, let's talk Chester! This place is absolutely teeming with beauty. 😍 The city walls, the stunning medieval architecture, and those beautiful little shops – just perfect for finding some fabulously pink fashion finds! 😉 Oh, I spotted the most exquisite pink-tutu-themed handbag in one quaint boutique. It was so fab I just had to add it to my collection, you see! It goes perfectly with my new pink sparkly heels that I just found too! 😉
Chester is a real cultural hotspot too, you know? 🎨🎭 My visit just wouldn't be complete without seeing a fantastic ballet show. Ballet and tutus? That's practically a love story in itself! 😉 I managed to catch a performance of 'Swan Lake', and let me tell you, it was divine! I can still feel those graceful pirouettes and the majestic leaps taking my breath away! 🥰
But of course, no Pink Tutu Sparkles trip is complete without a dose of ballet class, so I naturally had to book myself in at a lovely studio here in Chester. 🤩 It's called 'Twirling Tales' - the name is fabulously perfect, don't you think? 💖✨
This class was a little different than my usual back home. I was amongst some incredibly talented students - and I am talking seriously, professionally trained dancers, you know? So it was super special! 💫 It was fantastic to be among them, soaking up all that expert energy and experiencing the most delightful ballet routine I've ever tried. My pirouettes have never been sharper, and my jumps are sky-high! (It could just be the tutu though…) 😅
I was even brave enough to try a few ballet moves outside, along the city walls! It felt very empowering and exhilarating to strut my stuff in a pink tutu with the historic walls of Chester as my backdrop! A fabulous memory in the making, I assure you. 💕📸
Chester's a city brimming with vibrant energy and welcoming vibes. 🌈 And trust me, those vibes just amplify when I'm in town, dazzling folks with my sparkle and showcasing the joy of wearing pink tutus. I had some lovely conversations with people, spreading the joy and inspiring them to wear their own pink tutu. (More about that later, my dears!) 😉
It wouldn't be right to leave out the culinary delights of Chester, darling. 🍰☕ After all, a day in the city is simply not complete without a generous dose of tea and cake. I'm so grateful for all the fantastic cafes and tearooms that helped fuel my journey. My absolute favourite was the 'Sugarplum Sweet Shop'. The name alone was enough to draw me in! (Oh, and the pink tutu cupcakes were divine. 🥰)
One of the things that I've been loving about my travels is exploring on horseback. I mean, galloping around in a tutu, through the English countryside is basically like something straight out of a fairytale! 🦄💫 And let me tell you, Chester did not disappoint. The scenery was simply breathtaking. 🏞 There are these stunning fields filled with wildflowers and cute little villages tucked away amongst the rolling green hills - I'm sure they would be totally picturesque with a sprinkle of pink tutu-themed decorations, darling. 😍 But honestly, you really can't get much prettier than those rolling English fields - and you know what? You don’t even need a pink tutu to make the landscape beautiful. The world already is pretty, in its own perfect, untamed way. (But a pink tutu definitely makes it extra fabulous. 😂)
It truly felt like I stepped right into a picture postcard! 💖🐴
Well, my darlings, my time in Chester has flown by quicker than a ballet dancer on point. (They are seriously fast you know!) But I can't help but feel it's been one of my most unforgettable trips. The city's historic charm, the incredible ballet class, and of course, all the gorgeous fashion finds… It's all left a shimmering trail of memories I'll treasure forever. 💕
Oh, and before I go, did I tell you that my amazing travel fund is coming along nicely thanks to some fun gigs I’ve done? 🎉 Last weekend I did a hilarious set at a local village fair in a beautiful old market town - complete with an all-pink tutu performance. 🎊 (My best work if I do say so myself!) The locals were such a delightful bunch. 🎶
But this is not the end, darling! My pink tutu journey is just getting started! I've already got some exciting plans in the pipeline, including a performance at a famous cabaret in London. 💖🎤 Don't worry, I'll keep you updated every step of the way!
