Hello my gorgeous darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to take you on another fabulously pink adventure! Today, we're waltzing into the charming town of Walton upon Thames, and believe me, it's just as picturesque as you'd imagine. Imagine cobblestone streets, charming shops, and the scent of freshly baked treats - a perfect backdrop for a bit of Pink Tutu magic!
I have to admit, I'm living for the festive season, Christmas lights twinkling, the smell of mince pies in the air, and all the sparkle and joy! This is definitely my time to shine (and twirl)!
Now, as many of you know, this Queen lives for travel, and trains are definitely my preferred mode of transport! I love gazing out the window, imagining all the amazing stories those houses hold. The train ride to Walton upon Thames was particularly enchanting, all those gorgeous Surrey countryside views - it was practically begging for a photoshoot in my new sequined coat and, of course, my signature pink tutu. Letās face it, every trip deserves a touch of pink tutu fabulousness!
But the true highlight of my trip wasn't just the stunning scenery. No, darlings, it was a truly magical evening spent at the local theatre! The show was a stunning rendition of Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake", and I'm not ashamed to admit I shed a happy tear or two. It was truly captivating and it really brought back memories of my time at the university ballet club, when I first discovered the pure joy of a fluffy pink tutu!
Now, if you're a true ballet aficionado like yours truly, you know the history of Walton upon Thames in ballet is rich. From being the birthplace of Dame Margot Fonteyn to boasting its very own ballet school, this town truly celebrates the art form! I just had to get my own twirl on! I had the best time taking a ballet class at the local dance school. It's incredible how much your core gets a workout in ballet ā even a Queen like myself can feel the burn!
Now, darling, what would a trip be without a little retail therapy? This Queen just had to pick up a few trinkets at the delightful boutiques of Walton upon Thames. From vintage finds to sparkling accessories, my shopping bag is bursting with treats for my next look!
But, my darling readers, the best part about travel is connecting with people. I met a group of delightful individuals at a little cafƩ and had the absolute pleasure of sharing a slice of cake (and lots of giggles) with them! They even praised my outfit! Apparently, I was "bringing a little pink joy" to their day! My heart simply melted!
Honestly, thereās just something so special about Walton upon Thames. Itās like stepping back in time, while simultaneously being modern and vibrant. And of course, with the right outfit, you can feel like a star!
As my trip comes to a close, I have one simple message for you, darlings. Never be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, explore new places, and remember, a little pink tutu magic can go a long way!
Keep shining bright, and remember: life is a stage and we're all here to twirl. And for those of you reading this in Walton upon Thames - I'll be back! Just give me a little advance notice, and weāll make this town sparkle even brighter, darlings. You know me ā I always deliver!
Until next time, Pink Tutu Sparkles xoxo

**Letās rewind back a bit. I actually fell in love with pink tutus in university! I was a student, trying to get my science degree, when I became totally hooked on dancing and fell in love with all things sparkly ā pink especially! We were raising funds for a new science lab at the university, and they had a huge costume sale, and I ended up trying on a pink tutu just for fun, with my science friends, (not very rock and roll, I know, ha!) but it just felt SO right! I looked like a ballerina, but with a lab coat on, so I felt a little out of place, and my friends laughed, and laughedā¦but thatās why I loved it, the utter ridiculousness of it!
After that night I became a regular at the university ballet club, wearing that tutu at every opportunity, even going to lectures in it! From then on, I had to embrace all things girly and frilly, and I went from a timid scientist in the lab by day, to a dancing queen by night, It felt like the biggest, most fabulous transformation. My family in Derbyshire loved it!
Ever since that day, Iāve embraced every tutu, Iāve added glitter, jewels, feathers, the bigger and the brighter the better. Now, with all this traveling Iām hoping to show everyone the true meaning of glitter, and how amazing wearing a tutu makes you feel - I think pink really does brighten everyones day! **
If youāre thinking, āOoh, how can I do thisā or āThis looks like funā, I get you, I was there once, shy and quiet. Hereās my advice, just embrace it, let your inner pink sparkle shine through. I never thought this was going to be possible, yet here I am. Just take a little time, put your tutu on, maybe some bright makeup, and start somewhere! Go to a local pub, enter a talent show, join a dance class, anything goes! You'd be surprised how supportive and encouraging the public can be, and who knows, maybe youāll be a dancing star like Pink Tutu Sparkles, touring the UK.
Who Knows what adventures the future holds? Maybe we'll meet at one of these fantastic shows - see you on the dance floor darlings!
