Hello my lovelies! It's your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, signing in from a very spiffing Trowbridge, nestled snugly in the heart of Wiltshire. This is post number 9239, and I'm bursting at the seams to share all the pink-tastic adventures I've been up to!
Train Travel is the Only Way
Now, you know how I feel about getting around – the faster the better! A train journey to Trowbridge it was, with my trusty luggage trolley piled high with not just glittery costumes, but my entire collection of pink tutus (don't judge, it's essential!) Honestly, if a railway could have been a catwalk, I'd have done the whole trip in full drag! Sadly, though, I left my giant feather boa at home this time, which, let's be honest, makes train travel a bit less dramatic. 😅
Meeting a Ballerina...in Trowbridge!
As soon as I arrived in Trowbridge, I just knew this place was magical. Not just because I'd scored a gig at the local theatre, but because there were people, everywhere, just bursting with joie de vivre! Imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon a real-life ballerina doing ballet classes in the park. Can you believe it? In Trowbridge?! I practically danced the entire day in my tutu just from seeing her grace and strength. And naturally, I took full advantage of the photo op (I mean, my Instagram feed doesn't post itself, does it? 😉).
Dress Shopping Like a Princess!
You already know I can never go anywhere without hitting the shops! Especially not a place like Trowbridge, known for its charming little boutiques and cobblestone streets. It was like a pink dream! You bet your bottom dollar I walked out with a brand new fuchsia handbag (it was begging me to take it home!) and enough glitter to sparkle even under a disco ball! Did I tell you I found a pair of platform shoes with rainbow sequins on them? Pure bliss!
Showtime at the Trowbridge Theatre!
Then came the highlight of my trip: my performance at the Trowbridge Theatre! This little beauty has a gorgeous old-world charm to it. The stage was small, which just meant I could twirl even more (and you know I love a good twirl). I performed all my best pink-tastic numbers: “Glitter and Shine”, "I Believe in Pink", and even my sassy take on “Dancing Queen” (complete with an impressive feather-boad-waving segment, because why not!). The audience, darling, you’ll never guess. The most lovely bunch of people. They sang along, laughed, and clapped. A true success! 💖
Horse Riding for the First Time
But that’s not all. You see, Trowbridge also had this cute, tiny stable, run by the nicest couple you could meet. And guess what they had? A pony! And did I, Pink Tutu Sparkles, have the chance to go for a ride? You bet your sequins I did! In a perfectly matching pink helmet! 🙈 This pony is now my new BFF, and he can’t tell me anything!
A Tutu-ful Ending to My Trip
As I’m writing this, I’m back in my little flat in Derbyshire, unpacking and reminiscing over a pot of tea (just as fancy as all those hot pink high-tea parties I adore!). I’ve come back with a newfound love for this sweet town and an extra handful of pink tutus to add to my collection! Trowbridge, you've captured my heart, and now it’s a little more pink thanks to you. 💖✨
