I’ve just touched down (after a thrilling train journey, of course!), and the air is already buzzing with excitement. You know I just adore this city, and this trip is going to be particularly pink-tastic.

I found it tucked away in a little vintage shop on my way to the station, and it was just begging to be a part of my Manchester adventure. And the matching pink gloves? Divine. Manchester is one of those cities that simply hums with energy. The moment I step out of the train station, I'm hit with that classic blend of old-world charm and edgy cool. The highlight of my trip, of course, is my performance at the Theatre Royal on Friday. This venue is an absolute beauty. Just imagine, the rich mahogany wood, the plush velvet seating, and me, bathed in stage lights, twirling and dazzling in my pinkest glory! I just know my act is going to be extra sparkly for this crowd! I’m not going to spoil any secrets but I’m doing my special interpretive ballet-inspired dance routine to "Pink Martini" which will definitely have the audience feeling all the feels!
Now, before we get ahead of ourselves, let me spill the tea about my journey to Manchester. It was a bit of a whirlwind, as it usually is! First, I whipped up my signature "Sparkles in a Bowl" (my recipe's a closely guarded secret, darling!) for a fundraiser at the local hospital in my hometown. We had a grand total of 347 pink cupcakes consumed, and my dance routine brought down the house (in a good way, obviously!) Now, who knew that being a scientist and a drag queen had such great synergy!
Next, there was a bit of a crisis: My favorite fluffy pink unicorn headband snapped! The horror! My little unicorn horn had to go. But panic turned to delight when I discovered the most fabulous rainbow unicorn headband at a vintage shop in a nearby village. I couldn't resist its sheer rainbow brilliance! This one is even bigger, better, and has those cute unicorn ears, which just add that extra oomph to any outfit. It was a bit pricey, but hey, for the good of my fans, gotta make those sacrifices!
