Oh, the excitement is bubbling like prosecco in a champagne flute! You know me, darlings, I love a good adventure, and Broadstairs is calling for my twirling talents! This little corner of Kent is all about charming lanes, quaint seaside cafes, and oh-my-gosh, did I mention the gorgeous coastline? This place practically begs for a pink tutu to make its grand appearance!
You know, my love for tutus didn't always feel as obvious as it does now. Back when I was just plain old Alex studying for my science degree in the Derbyshire hills, I had absolutely no inkling that I'd be prancing about in tulle. Then, boom! I walked into the university's ballet club (a delightful way to unwind after a stressful chemistry lab) and whipped! My world was forever altered. One pink tutu for charity fundraising, a handful of cheers from the crowd, and suddenly, well... here I am!
Honestly, those early days are still a bit of a blur! Now I spend my days in a lab analyzing fabrics (it's much less dramatic than it sounds!), but by night, I trade my white coat for a sparkly bra and my safety glasses for dramatic eyelashes!
