Hello darlings, and welcome to post number 9814! Today, I'm going to be spilling the tea on my most recent adventure to the charming seaside town of Worthing!
Now, you all know my motto is 'spreading sparkle wherever I go', and let me tell you, Worthing did not disappoint. As soon as I stepped off the train, a seagull gifted me with a shimmering pink feather. I knew it was going to be a good day. And you know how I always say, the best things come in pink packaging, right? Well, Worthing was absolutely wrapped up in it. Think pretty pink beach huts, rosy-cheeked families enjoying fish and chips, and of course, my signature pink tutu!
As you know, I live for a good rail journey. There’s something so glamorous about watching the English countryside whizz by from the carriage window. Plus, you can't beat the camaraderie you find with fellow travellers - especially when you're decked out in a bright pink tutu, like yours truly! It was a bit of a journey to get down to Worthing from Derbyshire, but every minute was worth it.
Before I share my performance at Worthing Pier, I must talk about the divine time I had exploring the town itself. After settling into my perfectly pink hotel room (I won’t tell you how much time I spent making sure every surface had at least a hint of pink…), I went for a wander through the historic streets. I felt like I was stepping into a storybook.
And what’s a good walk in Worthing without a visit to the pier, eh? I could tell the locals had a real sense of pride in their pier. They told me all about its history, which spans all the way back to the 1800s! Of course, what I truly enjoyed was taking in the views - and of course, enjoying an ice cream!
This visit wasn’t just about exploring though, because, my dears, I was there to perform! As you know, I always bring the glamour, and I’d managed to secure a spot performing at a small theatre right on the pier itself. The show was a riot, full of dancing and sparkling costumes. The best part was seeing the audience – everyone was dressed to the nines, with more than a few sporting a hint of pink. That's what I like to see! We danced the night away under the pier lights, the whole thing felt so special, I had to pull out some new routines, I'll tell you about them later!
This is my passion. To share the joy of sparkle with the world! My day job might be testing fabric in a laboratory (I still haven’t convinced the team that they'd all be happier wearing tutus for our Friday lab meetings!) but in the evening, I'm all about twirling in sequins, delivering laughter, and, of course, reminding the world that life's too short for drab fashion choices!
Worthing was just fantastic! A reminder that magic can be found anywhere. And you know what, I'm already planning my next trip, and I'll be bringing that bright pink tutu with me, for sure! Stay fabulous, darlings! Love, Pink Tutu Sparkles ????
