This is blog post number 9865 for ya, my little tutu cherubs. I'm so glad you’ve joined me today, darling, as I dish the tea on all the fabulous things happening on my pink and twirling journey. ?
Train Travel, Tea & Treats
So, here’s the low-down, my sweethearts. I hitched a ride on a glamorous vintage train to Hove. (Don’t you love those carriages, with the big comfy seats and that fabulous vintage aroma?). Of course, my fabulous pink travel case was a big hit on the train - with all my performance wear inside. (I’ve gotta keep it safe!).
I settled in, grabbed a cheeky cuppa, and started browsing through the carriage for any potential new tutu-wearing recruits. Don’t worry darlings, no pressure. I mean, there’s a difference between subtle charm and tutu-based terrorism. I can only do so much. ? But it was a great time to mingle and spread the gospel of pink and frills! I'm always looking to find new tutu converts, darling! Who knows, maybe you could be next?! ?
Hove’s Magical Enchantment
You guys! The sheer amount of vibrant energy in Hove was unbelievable! I swear I even spotted some iridescent rainbows in the sky, all because I’m such a positive force. (Yes, you heard it right, my sweet dears, I can see rainbows anywhere thanks to the power of positivity and the most fab pink tutu. ? This is my life.) I could feel the pink sparkle pulsating right through the cobbled streets. You could smell it in the air! I love seaside towns. The breeze just invigorates me. They have such a happy air! The whole place felt so dreamy - a real mix of chic shops, bustling cafes, and even a stunningly beautiful pier. There’s even a really fab theatre on the seafront. Think I might give that a go later.
The Brighton Pavilion - It’s A Dream in Pink!
I swear the universe loves me, babes! Just after I arrived in Hove, I saw it! It’s magnificent, absolutely amazing. I felt compelled, you know? The urge to pay my respects. This pink, magnificent, fabulous edifice! The Brighton Pavilion is everything a true pink princess ever dreamt of.
You guys know my thing - pastel shades of pink, gold accents and stunning architecture – all the essential elements for a glamorous fairy tale. There’s even a little pink, Victorian-style tea room where you can get yourself a scrumptious afternoon tea, or a little cake - or maybe even a cheeky cupcake! And guess what I saw as I stepped inside?! A magnificent huge ballroom, completely dazzling in pink. It’s enough to make your tutu hearts sing, babes. The energy in this place is just vibrant. My sweet darlings, imagine: The Brighton Pavilion! Pink tutus! An epic pink-themed drag performance! This is what my dreams are made of. ✨
Finding a Lovely Lunch Spot
I am not going to lie, darlings! My tummy was starting to rumble after that grand trip to the Pavilion. After a spot of tea, I decided to go hunt down a little lunch treat. The streets of Hove are chocca block with lovely little cafes and shops selling the most amazing trinkets, treasures and handmade items.
One shop, darling, it really caught my eye! It was full of hand-knitted clothing. The knitter was a kind, chatty fellow - a big tutu-fan! Imagine that, a fellow glitter loving knitter. What a lucky chance meeting, right? This was totally a pink-tutu destined encounter, so naturally, I treated myself to a hand-knitted pink tutu and an adorable little pink teddy. There was so much lovely pink crochet and a million sparkly, fuzzy handmade items. It was heaven on earth! You can bet this was shopping done right. ?
After all this exploring, my tummy was doing some proper complaining, so I stopped off at a local cafe and devoured some of the most delicious chicken, chips and gravy. I love British grub! And don’t get me started on those chips! ??
The Great Pink Tutu Plan
As always, you guys know I’m all about spreading the pink-tutu love. So of course, I stopped by a local arts and craft store. A little birdie had tipped me off - it was supposedly the most amazing tutu shop ever, with a mind-boggling array of pink and frilly designs! It really didn’t disappoint! There were tutus of all shapes and sizes, even sparkly, rainbow-colored ones. It was like a tutu emporium! I decided to go for a fab pink and silver design - gotta add a little sparkle! The tutu looks just magical when it catches the light, you guys! ? Of course, no tutu is complete without some killer accessories. So I picked up a pink feathered boa, a pair of glittery pink gloves and, you know me, an absolutely fabulous set of pink feathers. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Always adding a little something special. ✨
A Day At The Theatre!
Of course, I just had to take a peek at Hove's little local theatre. It’s such a little gem! This cute theatre space with stunning red velvet curtains is just darling. I found myself whisked away on an enchanting adventure - you guys know I love a good ballet. My darlings, the show was pure magic - breathtaking dancing, a gorgeous love story. And what a performance - full of such dazzling moves. My whole body started tapping along. And oh darling, the ending? Don't even get me started, you're going to have to see for yourself. (Hint: It’s super cute!). The best part was this little ballerina with a fab tutu she designed. It was a stunning pink creation! Maybe I’ll just give her a nudge on tutu-fashion ideas sometime! I’m all about that girl-power, honey. Let’s face it, sometimes even us pros can use some extra sparkles and motivation!
Sparkly Evening Adventures
And guess what, darlings, Hove knows how to party. The vibrant energy on the streets just drew me in. And with the sound of the crashing waves - what’s not to love?
Tonight’s the night for my drag performance, darlings! And believe me, you are in for a treat! I'm talking dazzling makeup, feather boas, my iconic Pink Tutu and all that high-energy glittery magic. It’s time to wow the crowd and let everyone experience a bit of Pink Tutu Sparkles! I can’t tell you where yet - let’s just say it's the best kept secret in Hove! ?
Oh! I almost forgot. Tonight’s outfit? A sparkly pink bodice with a fabulous hand-stitched tutu (you guys will love it!), feathers, and of course, my iconic glitter bombs (I mean, what’s a performance without a little glitter mayhem?). ?
Tutu Goodbye For Now
