Today’s post is a real special one, my 9909th to be precise, and we're heading to Feltham, my dears, Feltham! Yes, I know what you're thinking, not exactly the glitteriest of places. But hear me out - there's sparkle hidden everywhere if you just know where to look, and I am here to find it!
It’s funny how life takes you on the most wonderful, unexpected adventures. Remember me telling you about the time I nearly went to space in my tutu? Well, my darlings, let's just say Feltham is far more down to earth, but it's a far cry from my usual Derbyshire countryside stomping ground! I had to take the train there - my good ol' trusty steed of steel (ahem, I do love a good carriage ride!) and was absolutely mesmerized by the sight of London sprawling out before me.
My lovelies, let me paint a picture for you...
This past week was all about being unstoppable. You see, I was booked to perform at the Feltham Fun Day - which is basically a small fair celebrating, well, Feltham! ?. You might be wondering why on earth I was in such a bustling market town, but you see, being a drag artist is about embracing the unexpected and finding those sparkles even in the most ordinary places. This town is brimming with colourful personalities, ready for a splash of Pink Tutu Sparkles!
And trust me, Feltham got that splash! The sun was shining, the air was buzzing with energy, and my sparkly pink tutu, aptly titled “Cosmic Kiss,” (with matching hand-painted eye-shadow) was ready to show them how to rock the day, Feltham style! ✨
Of course, no adventure of mine is complete without a little bit of retail therapy! And Feltham did not disappoint. There's this sweet shop on the high street that had everything I could dream of. And the bakeries, oh my! Fresh, delicious bread, cakes, and pastries were my reward for a day of laughter and a stage full of love. I may have treated myself to a bit of something sweet. A Pink Sprinkle Donut with extra frosting, anyone? ?
Now, if you thought Feltham couldn't get any more glam, you were wrong! The town had this cute little vintage shop bursting with incredible finds – all perfectly in keeping with my unique sense of style. Did you know the secret to finding the best vintage clothes? It's all about being open to possibilities and trusting your instincts! You'd be surprised at what hidden gems you might unearth, my darlings! ?
My Feltham adventure was a reminder that you never know what magical experiences are waiting just around the corner, even in places you might not expect.
