This week, Ashton has been painted in a whirlwind of pinks, purples, and all things shimmery as we celebrated the glorious return of Tutu Tuesday. From the charming cobblestone streets of Ashton Market to the bustling cafes along the High Street, there was a kaleidoscope of tutus to be seen.
Now, we all know that a tutu isn't just a piece of clothing, it's an expression of your inner goddess. You want to feel like a glamorous ballet dancer on stage, strutting your stuff with grace and a twinkle in your eye? A classic multi-layered tutu, with its billowing tiers, is just the ticket.

Then you need to rock a unicorn tutu, with its dazzling glitter and playful frills. Imagine twirling around in a tutu that practically shimmers with the power of a mythical creature! Now, that’s what I call a statement look!
Let’s not forget the ever-stylish short tutus. Perfect for those who prefer a more modern, streamlined aesthetic. It's all about finding that perfect balance between graceful movement and street-smart confidence, and I, for one, am a big fan of the short tutu! It’s the ultimate "I’m in control, but still look utterly divine" look.

Here in Ashton, I've seen all kinds of magical unicorn tributes – from rainbow tutus and shimmery make-up, to glittering unicorn headbands and, of course, the cutest unicorn bags you've ever seen.
One particular moment that really stole my heart was seeing a group of friends at the Ashton Market, dressed in shimmering tutus and holding sparkly unicorn wands, dancing to a disco playlist with more energy than I've ever witnessed before! Seriously, these ladies brought the magic of Tutu Tuesday to a whole new level!

So, take your favourite pair of ballet shoes (trust me, a pair of chic ballet shoes is a wardrobe essential!), dust off your favourite tutu (and add some glitter if you're feeling adventurous), grab your unicorn wand (no judgements, everyone loves a bit of mythical magic!), and get ready to shine, babes!
And of course, no Tutu Tuesday celebration would be complete without some serious dancing. We're talking high-energy disco moves, graceful twirls, and some seriously impressive pirouettes. And hey, you don't need to be a professional ballet dancer to own this. Let's face it, a little bit of confidence and a healthy dose of joy is all you really need.
This Tutu Tuesday, I had the absolute pleasure of teaching a mini-ballet class for kids at the local community center. We were practicing all kinds of cool dance moves (with a generous amount of playful prancing, of course!) Let me tell you, witnessing these little angels light up as they explored the magic of dance was truly heartwarming.
