Oh darling, you wouldn't believe the weather we've been having in Bristol lately. Sunshine? Check. Blue skies? Check. Ice cream melting before you can even lick it? Double check. This is the perfect weather for Tutu Tuesday and you know what that means... unleashing the rainbow unicorn within!
You see, dear readers, I’m an unabashed tutu enthusiast. It's like wearing a magical, twirly hug for your lower half! It doesn't matter if it's a classic tulle pouffe, a feathery romantic number, or a super sassy, short, disco-tastic affair, tutus are my jam, my jelly, my entire delicious spread.
But it's been particularly tough resisting my urge for a tutu extravaganza with all this sunshine. You see, summertime screams Unicorn Magic, and those magnificent mythical creatures practically demand a little tulle love! So, for today's Tutu Tuesday, I've got my very special unicorn-themed ensemble prepped, and I'm going to paint the town sparkly pink.
Before I even unveil my glorious look, let me share a little #Tututuesday wisdom: picking a tutu can be a journey in itself. There's the "Classic Ballerina", of course, the billowing tulle of legends. But then there’s the "Whimsical Whirlwind", the one you throw on just for pure, joyful dancey chaos! I must confess, I own far too many variations... just the right tutu for every occasion (and by occasion, I mean, mood).

Now, you've heard my tutu speech (aren't I a hoot?), so let’s get back to the topic du jour: Unicorns. These majestic creatures represent all things magical, joyous and downright sassy! Just imagine: rainbows, glitter, a golden horn and, of course, pure untamed sparkle. It's impossible to resist the sheer power of a unicorn's spirit!
So how do you do unicorns right on a #Tututuesday? The answer is simple, you commit! I’m talking: * Rainbow colour palettes: Think everything from lilac and pastel pink to bold fuschia and electric turquoise! I've gone all out, darlings. This Tutu Tuesday is a rainbow explosion. * The right horn: For this, I've sourced an authentic unicorn horn headband – and I won’t even apologize for being that girl. The bigger the better! You can't get unicorn enough! * Glitter. All the glitter. I don't care how silly it might look, this is about having fun, about celebrating our inner unicorns! It’s the only kind of “overkill” I ever support!
And yes, I'm taking "sparkle" literally! We're talking a shimmery, almost ethereal finish. My tulle this time is actually painted with holographic glitter - every movement creates a magical blur of light!

It's officially #Tututuesday in Bristol, the weather's stunning, my rainbow unicorn look is primed for its debut... Time to find a café patio where the light catches the tulle just so. Get ready for pics, friends. I’m sure my feed is going to be bursting with a unicorn sparkle overload!
As you can tell, I am all about making a grand entrance, embracing the silly, and channeling those fabulous unicorn vibes! Life is too short for drab attire, folks.
