It's Tutu Tuesday, my lovelies, and this week I'm channeling all the sunshine and glitter vibes of summer in the most magical way imaginable – by embracing my inner unicorn! 🌈🦄
Now, I know what you're thinking: tutus and unicorns? Sounds pretty saccharine, right? But trust me, this look is far from cutesy! We're talking about tutus that are fierce. This ain't no dainty, poofy ballerina skirt, darling. This is about showcasing tutus in all their glory, from the full-on, multi-layered tulle poufs that make you feel like a princess (think Swan Lake gone glam), to the sleek, sassy, shorter styles that say "I'm here to party, and I'm doing it with style!" Think Moulin Rouge meets Pretty Woman – chic, bold and utterly captivating!
And who better to embody this mood than our glorious, majestic unicorn friends? They are the epitome of grace, beauty and whimsical wonder! (Plus, they totally rock the pastel pink, my go-to shade, and look fabulous in tulle, just sayin'). So, this week, I'm bringing the magical vibes of the unicorn to my tutu and taking it out for a spin around the lovely town of Guiseley.

The Tutu: My pick for this summery, unicorn-inspired look is a vibrant, multi-layered, pink tulle tutu that’s both playful and glamorous. Think "Pink Flamingo" meets "Candyfloss Dream" with a dash of disco ball sparkle! It's fluffy, it's fabulous, and it twirls like a dream. (Trust me, the passersby on Guiseley’s high street were absolutely charmed, with many stopping for a photo op with yours truly - my Instagram is about to blow up!)
The Top: Now, we're keeping things playful but also fashion-forward, so we're going with a sparkling silver crop top! This adds a touch of sassy attitude to the ethereal vibe of the tutu. It also shows off my sculpted shoulders and lets me dance in the summer sunshine with a carefree attitude.
The Accessories: What's a magical unicorn outfit without a sprinkle of magic, right? That's why we're going all out with shimmering jewelry: silver hoops for the ears, a delicate silver chain with a tiny pink pearl necklace, and a stack of colorful bangles on my wrists. To tie the look together, I’m adding a pink glitter eye shadow, my favourite pink lipgloss and of course, a sprinkle of shimmer to highlight my cheekbones. Remember, we’re going for unicorn chic here, and who needs a crown when you have your own sparkling hair halo?!
The Footwear: For Guiseley, we're rocking a pair of glittery pink ballerina flats. They're comfy, chic and perfect for walking around town and showing off those incredible twirls (because, obviously, the streets are my personal dance floor!). For a more “glam and party” vibe, a pair of pink platform sandals would add that extra dash of height and attitude – perfect for the dance floor (whether it's in the park, or later on, in the nightclub!).
The Vibe: Forget "serious," forget "stuffy", this Tutu Tuesday is about fun, embracing our inner unicorn, and showing the world how much we adore tutus and how fiercely we can own our own personal style!

Because when you feel confident, you wear a tutu, not just to a dance studio or on stage – but everywhere!
