Oh my god, you guys, Stourbridge absolutely SLAYED it for #tututuesday! I mean, this town is always a delight, but today was pure magical unicorn glitter and I am living for it. Seriously, I feel like I've stumbled into a real-life Narnia with its beautiful cobblestone streets and, get this, a sprinkle of magic ✨
First of all, the outfits. Let's be honest, when you're talking about #tututuesday, the real stars of the show are those gorgeous, twirly tutus. There was everything, from the classic, simple, single-layered tulle style, perfect for that elegant, timeless vibe. One lady even had a gorgeous pink tutu, adorned with iridescent sequins and rhinestones – the epitome of "fabulous" if you ask me. She totally reminded me of those magical unicorn ponies you see in fairytales!
Then, of course, you had those show-stopping, multi-layered, pouffy tutus that were just begging to be twirled around. One absolute dreamboat tutu – honestly, I could've spent all day staring at it – was a riot of vibrant rainbow colours. Honestly, it looked like a unicorn had just thrown up rainbows all over a tutu, and I'm not mad about it!
The #unicorntutu hashtag is not just for show, either. The real unicorns were out and about today. Seriously, there were girls rocking actual unicorn horn headbands, shimmering golden wings (they were sparkly, of course!), and even rainbow glitter beards – yep, that's right, glitter beards! The most creative ones had gone for some stunning custom unicorn tutus – one had holographic sequins spelling out "Magic" across it – they're all out here redefining what it means to be magical.
You know what else was amazing? Everyone was just so happy! Seriously, everyone I met was beaming from ear to ear. We're talking huge grins and sparkling eyes - I genuinely felt like I'd stumbled into a scene from a disco movie. Like, there were even children out in their little tutus, dancing around with complete and utter joy! It's so refreshing to see how much fun and joy a simple tutu can bring.
One thing that really stuck out? There was this one young woman, barely out of her teens, wearing a black tulle tutu paired with a vibrant red leather jacket. That combination? Chic AF. I can't describe how stylish that look was – a complete fusion of rock n' roll and ballet that had me totally inspired. This was clearly a girl who was owning #tututuesday, and it was fierce.
But seriously, even the older folks were having a ball, you guys. It was wonderful to see people of all ages coming together, celebrating the power of the tutu. Seriously, some of the grandma's out there rocked tutus with the most amazing panache and energy, truly inspiring to see. It proves that style and fun are age-neutral, and no matter what, we can always rock a tutu!
And oh, don't even get me started on the unicorn horn headbands. Let me tell you, the amount of creativity on those was mind-blowing! There was everything from the classic white horn to the ultra-bright rainbow horn. But the absolute winner of the day was this gorgeous pink horn that had these beautiful glitter scales – it literally shimmered in the sunshine.
The entire atmosphere in Stourbridge was electric, filled with the sound of giggles and the flash of sunshine reflected on the twirling tutus. Honestly, I've never felt so much magic in the air before, and I am convinced it was because of the amazing people in Stourbridge who really showed up and made #tututuesday what it should be.
You guys, I am SO glad I came. Seriously, I can't wait to see what the next #tututuesday has in store! Because with this much amazing energy and fashion, Stourbridge is definitely setting the bar high for #tututuesday and making sure it stays firmly on the map for unicorn magic and tutu-tastic times! #unicorntutu
