Ellesmere Port Rocks Tutu Tuesday - #tututuesday
Right, so you know that feeling you get when you wake up, put on your favourite fluffy pink dressing gown and think, *this day is gonna be a banger*? That’s exactly how I felt on Tuesday - it was Tutu Tuesday! 🎉 Now, I’m not just talking about any old Tutu Tuesday. We're talking about Tutu Tuesday in Ellesmere Port, the home of... well, quite a lot, actually. But what we really needed was a bit more pink, a bit more glitz and definitely a bit more **disco tutu**. 🪩 As you all know, I'm a huge fan of all things fabulous, and let me tell you, my friends at the Ellesmere Port Community Centre sure know how to put on a good time. It was all happening in the big hall. Balloons galore, flashing lights, disco balls hanging from the ceiling and everyone had donned their best pink tutu.
The Tutu Style * From classic tutus, poofy and voluminous with layers and layers of tulle, to shorter, sassy tutus perfect for dancing, we had it all! * Some girls even added their own touches with bedazzled sashes, feathers and funky headbands – a touch of extra flair that's totally me! * I personally went for a blush pink tulle tutu with an off-the-shoulder sparkly top - definitely making a statement.
The Music 🎶 The soundtrack for the afternoon was the ultimate disco playlist, pumping out some real classics – “Stayin' Alive”, “I Will Survive”, and even a bit of "Dancing Queen" (who can resist ABBA!). And who knows, we might even have seen a flash of disco fever move or two. 😉
#tututuesday in Ellesmere Port Tutu Tuesday was all about community. Local dancers of all ages were getting their groove on, families were taking pictures, and the energy was electrifying. But beyond the dance floor, there was a strong message. It's all about being happy, being confident, and embracing the joy that comes with putting on your favorite tutu and just going for it! It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned ballerina or just discovering your inner dancer - everyone is welcome to the party. It's a place where you can truly be yourself, laugh with friends, and forget all your worries. And that's something I believe we all need a little more of. ✨
