Littlehampton Tutu Tuesday: Where Disco Meets Dolphins
Hello lovelies! Your girl's back, ready to talk all things twirling, and this week it's a real *sparkly* one! Let's head down to Littlehampton, Sussex for the most fabulous Tutu Tuesday you'll ever experience!
If you're a fan of a good *swish*, then this coastal town is the place to be. As soon as I arrived in this little slice of seaside heaven, I was overwhelmed by a sheer (pun intended!) burst of excitement - Tutu Tuesday in Littlehampton is just **that** good. The air crackles with energy and every single person in sight is rocking a *fab* tutu!
And trust me, *these* aren't your everyday, ordinary tutus! Forget boring black. We're talking **PINK**, people. *Hot* pink, candy pink, baby pink, *all* the pinks! From the cutest ballerina-inspired twirls to those ultra-glam, full-on disco queens, the vibe here is truly *electric*. You haven't seen a true tutu explosion until you've experienced Littlehampton's #tututuesday!
Let me tell you a little about some of the fab tutus I spotted:
- The **sparkly princess tutu**: This was my favourite, all soft and shimmery tulle. Think **Ariel** meets **Belle** with a sprinkle of **fairy dust**, and that's what we're talking!
- The **power tutu**: Think **Madonna**, think **80s icon**, think **Fierce**! This was definitely a statement tutu with a daringly high slit and loads of ruffles.
- The **boho tutu**: Now, this is a style you can totally wear outside of Tutu Tuesday too. It's casual, floaty, and has that super chic vibe going on. Perfect for an evening stroll by the sea.
- The **retro disco tutu**: I've never seen a *disco ball* looking so chic on a skirt, but the retro vibe of this tutu just *worked* - like you stepped straight out of *Saturday Night Fever*!
Speaking of disco, we can't talk Tutu Tuesday without mentioning *music*. And here in Littlehampton, there's a *special* reason for the disco beat! Get ready to meet your newest bestie: the **#discodolphin!** You read that right. I am so obsessed! This adorable, funky dolphin (whose story you absolutely HAVE to read up on - seriously, it's a total game changer) has become the face of the disco-tutu craze. And this just adds another layer of fabulosity to this already incredible event.
I could go on forever about the magic of Tutu Tuesday - I can see why the town's residents love their weekly celebration so much! Whether you're a ballet pro or you just can't resist a good *twirl* (like me), a tutu is sure to put a smile on your face. And there's something about wearing one *here*, in Littlehampton, that makes it feel *even more special* - the energy is *pure joy*. Don't even get me started on the photos. They're #tututuesday gold!
And the best part? It's not just about the tutus. It's about the **community**! I felt such a warm welcome from the moment I stepped out of the train station. People from all walks of life gathered, smiling and laughing and chatting away. They told me they wouldn't miss #tututuesday for the world. Now, isn't that lovely? The kind of feeling that you want to bring home with you.
This one's definitely going down as one of my favorite events of all time - I'm already planning my next trip to Littlehampton! This truly is the perfect spot for those who dare to wear a little more **PINK**!
