Middleton Goes Pink & Fabulous for Tutu Tuesday
Let's be honest, darling, Tuesdays aren't usually known for their glam factor. But in Middleton, this Tuesday is an exception! It was Tutu Tuesday, and the town centre was a swirling sea of pink tulle and shimmying sequins. This week's theme? The disco dolphin! We're talking about vibrant pinks, playful patterns, and enough sparkle to blind a passing space shuttle.
Now, I wouldn't dream of having a Tutu Tuesday without my go-to, trusty tutu. I opted for a classic, mid-length, pale pink number. The sheer tulle fabric was soft as a cloud, and it twirled with me as I strutted down Market Street. To add a touch of playful disco, I've attached some sparkly silver ribbons - you can never have too much sparkle, darlings. My shoes? Disco ball platforms. If the platform doesn't click-clack, you haven't chosen the right shoe. Honestly, Middleton is so on trend at the moment, it was like we were all transported to a vintage disco, complete with glitter balls, shimmering lights, and the groovy sounds of the 70s pumping from every shop.
Now, darling, no good outfit is complete without accessories, so I brought the bling. From glitter-encrusted tiaras to neon pink sunglasses, to sparkly handbags that would put a disco ball to shame, Middleton's fashionistas truly brought their A-game to this week's tutu challenge. I'm not surprised – I mean, look at this selection of awesome outfits!
- The "Disco Dolphin" Tutu: We spotted a darling in a stunning baby pink tulle tutu adorned with silver sequinned dolphin appliqué. Adorable, right?
- The "Pink Power" Tutu: Another outfit that turned heads was a hot pink, super short tutu teamed with an oversized neon pink t-shirt and sparkly platform boots. We love the sassy vibe.
- The "Funky Flamingo" Tutu: This was an all-out statement. Think an enormous fluffy, coral-pink tulle tutu and a coordinating feather boa. Now, this is the real deal. It even had sparkly flamingo sequins on the tutu!

As a ballet dancer, it makes me incredibly proud to see such passion for the dance and the creativity that comes from wearing a tutu.
