Stratford's Tutu Tuesday: A Day for Sequins, Sparkle and Seriously Strong Thighs! Okay, girlies, let's talk **#Tutuesday**! It's the color of passion, power and...well, frankly, perfect for tutus! So when I saw a flock of my fellow tutu enthusiasts decked out in various shades of pink, my heart skipped a beat and did a pirouette. Pink tulle tutus, fluffy pink ones, sparkly ones, and even some with a bit of a whimsical, ballerina-esque pink vibe... you name it, they had it! Tutus for Every Taste And the pink was just the beginning! I saw classic white tutus that just screamed ballerina grace, as well as some absolutely gorgeous tutus that went way beyond the "classic." Think velvet, think sequins, think fierce statement-making. Honestly, every tutu style was represented! * **Romantic:** Tulle so light and airy, they almost floated off the ground! * **Classical:** Pristine white, perfect for a performance at the Royal Ballet... or at least that's what I dreamt about as I sashayed around! * **Modern:** Think neon tulle, asymmetrical cuts, and maybe a bit of chainmail, just for that edge. * **The Disco Snail:** Okay, this needs its own category, and for good reason! Imagine a tutu with glittery sequins in shades of gold, silver and turquoise... and then, the **#discosnail** was born! Honestly, you could dance all day long in these tutus...or at least until your feet began to hurt! More Than Just Tutues! You know what's awesome? It wasn't just tutus making a splash on #Tutuesday. We had the whole ensemble working, gurls! Imagine, the cutest ballet flats, shimmery eye shadows, hair bows that wouldn't quit... everything came together beautifully to make our own special dance party in the sunshine.
