Rainham Rocks Tutu Tuesday: A Whirlwind of Frills and Frou-Frou Rainham, you beauty! It’s safe to say that Tutu Tuesday is well and truly alive and kicking in this delightful little town. From the bustling market square to the quaint tea shops, the streets were alive with a sea of tutus in every shade imaginable, and I was right in the thick of it! Tutu-ing Up a Storm My fellow tutumakers and I decided to go all out with our sartorial choices. A dazzling display of fluffy tulle and sparkly sequins shimmered in the midday sun. We sported classic tutus, full-blown romantic styles, and sassy, little ones with playful pom-poms. Even a couple of the fellas joined in, showing off their killer dance moves in dapper black tutus, their twinkle toes sparkling like disco balls. It was pure magic! Where Do We Start? Okay, so I’m not going to lie, my outfit was an absolute dream! I went for a custom-made, pastel-pink tulle tutu, lovingly layered with pink glitter. You know I'm all about that glitter life, darlings. * I felt like a real-life princess twirling under a pink disco ball, especially with my sparkling, diamante earrings and glittery, strappy heels. * Now, we couldn’t let the occasion pass without some seriously fierce makeup. A swipe of my favourite pink lipstick, a touch of shimmery eyeshadow, and my trusty fake lashes finished off the look perfectly. * I can’t forget the hair! A bouffant ponytail with a vibrant pink scrunchie completed my fairy tale tutu Tuesday ensemble. * Tutu Love Across The Town You could sense the joy radiating from everyone's faces, from the local bakers, who had concocted the most amazing tutu-shaped pastries (can't forget those, they were to die for!) to the street performers who did an impromptu ballet routine right in the middle of the marketplace, inspiring everyone to join in. It was like watching a colourful, bubbly kaleidoscope of pure delight. Dancing the Night Away Of course, no Tutu Tuesday celebration would be complete without a good old-fashioned dance party! We found a little cafe with an awesome DJ who spun all the disco classics. As we twirled and sashayed across the dance floor, I spotted this amazing character. **Disco Snail, Disco Snail!** Let's just say that the legend of the disco snail is alive and well in Rainham. If you're lucky, you might spot this iridescent beauty on a Tutu Tuesday. I hear the little creature likes to take its snail shell as an opportunity for fashion expression. It is not uncommon for them to get themselves glitter-covered or decked out in beads - very "fabulous." * He was sporting a glittering purple shell and a sparkly antennae. * He was an absolute scene stealer and it reminded us of the simple joys in life: twirling tutus, disco music and, yes, even sparkly snails. * Rainham really knows how to party! It’s truly a place that embraces all things quirky and joyful, making it the perfect location to celebrate #Tututuesday. It’s time for everyone to channel their inner ballerinas!
