Tutu Tuesday in Wickford: A whirlwind of pink, glitter, and disco moves!
Oh my gosh, Wickford, you absolutely killed it with Tutu Tuesday! I'm still buzzing from the energy and the incredible displays of tutus. It was like a sea of pink and sparkle as far as the eye could see, with tutus of all shapes and sizes - from the classic romantic, the ethereal layered tulle, to the bold, contemporary styles. And it was a beautiful symphony of tutu styles, because let's face it, a tutu is never just a tutu, it's a mood, a statement, a way of life!
The highlight of my day was undoubtedly spotting the "Disco Snail" - a gloriously glam, shimmering creation with a spiralling trail of sparkly tulle. You really had to see it to believe it. This magical snail epitomized the whole #tututuesday spirit - a celebration of playful expression, creativity and unashamed silliness.

- The "Glitter Glitz" : If you can’t handle a touch of glitter in your life, then maybe Wickford wasn’t the place for you this week. A fabulous group of teenagers rocked the glitter and fringed tutu looks, with the biggest smiles you could imagine, adding a touch of pop culture to the occasion. They totally reminded me of a “Saturday Night Fever” movie scene. You’ve got to hand it to them, they certainly weren't afraid to stand out and be seen, they embodied the fun and vibrant essence of #tututuesday!
- The "Vintage Diva" : Oh, this is when Wickford's tutu dreams really got extra fabulous. One lovely lady (with a fantastic vintage dress and even better bouffant) totally wowed us with a bright lime green, swirling tutu, accessorized with a bejewelled fan. I’m telling you, she radiated "vintage goddess" vibes and completely stole the show.
Wickford, Tutu Tuesday is truly something special.
