Tutu Tuesday in Farnworth! #tututuesday
Well, hello darlings! It’s your girl, Lily here, back with another blog post! Can you believe it’s Tuesday already? Where does the time go?! As we all know, Tuesdays are the ultimate excuse to break out the **sparkle**. So obviously, today has to be about **Tutues**. This Tuesday is extra special because, as you know, Farnworth, my beloved town, has declared it **#Tututuesday**, so let's get the glitter flying! Remember those beautiful ballerinas, with their fluffy tulle tutus, dancing through our childhood dreams? Yeah, well it’s time to bring back that **ballet-inspired** style, because let’s face it, **tutus are having a moment** right now! What’s great about tutus is that you can be **seriously stylish and comfy** at the same time. You don't even have to wear a whole one – think about just adding a tulle layer for a pop of fun, because as the fab Miss Hepburn always said: **“You don't have to be crazy to be a stylist, but it helps.”**
Here's a few of my go-to #tututuesday tips: * **Pick your colour!** Now, my favourite is pink. I mean, **think pink** – a blush pink, bubblegum pink, or that lovely **hot pink**. * **Style it right.** Think about pairing that tutu with a simple white shirt or a cute slogan tee – a simple, vintage style look always works well with the **frilly** aspect. * **Don’t forget the glitter!** **Diamonds are a girl’s best friend** and **bling is a must** for this day. It’s all about that **sparkly-disco energy**. But enough about me – this post is about you guys and the way you **rock that #Tututuesday** spirit! So let’s dive into all the fun we’ve been having in Farnworth, our favourite #tututuesday town. And, wow, what a sight! You guys really **dressed the part**. This is my **favourite** part of **#Tututuesday**! The streets were filled with dancing fairies, graceful swans, and let’s not forget those **sexy tutus**. I saw tutus of every style – from the fluffy **classical** ones to the short, **sexy, **ones with those amazing **funky** patterns. It felt like stepping into **the ballet’s biggest opening night.** My favs: * Brenda and her **bold** **green** **tutu**. And the way she twirled… oh wow. * Sarah and her **boho** **cream** **tutu** with floral appliques – a modern take on a classic, just like me, lol! * My girl Laura had the cutest **lavender** **tutu** which, by the way, is perfect for a *superhero* outfit (did you see those **amazing** purple boots??), and – look out, guys, because **Laura's taking over Farnworth!** She wore the whole **outfit** from head-to-toe, **including a lavender tulle face mask**. That’s what I call **style!** * Mr and Mrs Johnson were just so sweet, doing a waltz in the middle of the town centre wearing matching **baby blue** **tutus.** Just the perfect **picture perfect couple!** * The team from the local bakery, wearing a selection of **red and pink tutus** , all paired with chef’s whites. They were so much fun and let’s be honest, those **sweet treats** they baked were an extra special bonus to #Tututuesday. We got the **sparkle** AND the sugar. Oh, and there was a surprise visit from **The Disco Snail**!! The little guy looked **fantastic** – **a shiny shell and glittery eyes** (**you really can’t leave out the glitter,** eh?) – he was in his element all night. Don't be fooled by his quiet demeanor – the snail has the soul of a dancing queen. Let's face it, there’s something to be said about a **slow, graceful movement** that is so elegant – kind of like a **ballet** dancer.
