Tutu Tuesday Takes Hartlepool by Storm!
#tututuesday #discotutu Oh my god, you guys! Tutu Tuesday in Hartlepool was *everything*! I'm talking disco balls, sequins galore, and more tutus than you can shake a glitter stick at! As a professional dancer, I'm always up for a little tutu fun, and Hartlepool did *not* disappoint. My outfit was a dream, a hot pink fluffy number (you know I love a bit of pink!), paired with my trusty disco platform heels, naturally! It was basically a tribute to Donna Summer and the disco era, but with a dash of ballet elegance – think **"Dancing Queen" meets "Swan Lake."** We all know the iconic image of the traditional tutu, all white and perfectly layered, but Hartlepool had a plethora of styles! There were fluffy tutus like mine, the classic single-layer style that’s a bit more modest, even a few sassy little tulle mini-skirts. And let’s not forget about the incredible accessories! Sequin-emblazoned bags, fluffy headbands, and those *fantastic* glitter-dusted eyeshadow palettes (it’s all about the shimmer!). You literally couldn’t turn a corner without seeing a tutu twirling by, and *that* is *exactly* why #tututuesday has become my absolute favourite day of the week! There’s a definite art to choosing the right tutu, of course, and everyone in Hartlepool seems to have mastered it! A classic white tutu screams elegance, perfect for a more refined, ballerinalook. Pink, well, it screams me. And that goes for all you fabulous girls who just can't get enough of the girly-girly look, you're a total knockout! The mini-tutus, they’re more of a sassy, "look at me!" style – perfect for the girl who's not afraid to show off her moves! It wasn’t all tutus and disco glitter though. The highlight of my day (apart from the glitter, naturally) was meeting *the* disco snail! If you haven’t heard of it, you need to Google it, because this snail, with his glittery shell and outrageous pink-and-orange pattern is basically a walking, shell-clad embodiment of the #discotutu spirit! He was truly the star of the day. But seriously, let’s talk about this incredible #tututuesday vibe that we’re all feeling! It's not about the tutu itself; it's about *feeling* fabulous! It’s about embracing your inner dance queen and letting loose, all while channeling the incredible energy of the iconic era of glitter, sequins, and *of course* that infectious disco beat. I’m not sure how this became the official fashion for Tuesdays in Hartlepool, but I’m not complaining, it’s basically a perfect way to start my week and I’m fully in support of the #tututuesday movement!
