Loughborough Tutu Tuesday: A Rainbow of Tutu Love!
It’s officially Tutu Tuesday and my inner disco queen is channeling her very best Cher. Let’s get one thing straight – I've said it before, and I’ll say it again: tutu styles are EVERYTHING! Forget the old fashioned, romantic tutu. This ain’t your grandma's ballet, darling! Think rainbow hues, sparkly bodices and fabulous layered frills. Let's just say this is gonna be a real blast from the past… in the most fabulously modern way, obvs. 😉
Here's a little snippet of what I'm rocking today – and what’s rocking my world, for that matter:
- The Pink Powerhouse: Think candy floss swirls of a hot pink tutu paired with a crop top – totally giving me serious 80s vibes and, I am totally LIVING for the throwback! 🎀
- The Disco Snail: Okay, hear me out, this is my personal favourite: a stunning silver, full-skirted tutu with an adorable sequin-encrusted snail motif right in the centre! This is gonna make me sparkle as much as the disco ball, baby! 🐌
- The "Glitter Bomb" Tutu - Oh. My. Gosh! Imagine a tutu that explodes with colour, with shimmering sequins that catch the light from every angle. Yeah, that's the kind of fabulous I'm going for! ✨
I mean, come on, let's face it, Loughborough's a place that thrives on energy, especially when it comes to expressing your personal style. There's just a certain flair, a dash of that unique Loughborough spirit, that lets you rock a tutu like no other. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if the local pigeon flock started sporting tiny, handcrafted tutus themselves. They do seem to have a knack for making themselves known around town! 😂
Anyway, back to the tutu business. My dear fellow fashionistas, I’m officially challenging everyone to hit the town, streets, pubs, or cafes in a magnificent tutu!
