Tutu Tuesday in Newbury - A Celebration of Pink and Sparkles

Hey gorgeous girlies! It's your favourite tutu-obsessed blogger here, and guess what? It's #TutTuesday! And you know what that means? Pink tutus, glittery tutus, sparkly tutus - you name it! It's a full-on tutu extravaganza, and today we're hitting Newbury for a day of dancing, shopping, and feeling fabulous! My outfit? Oh darling, it's a total showstopper. A baby pink, layered tutu with an ultra-short sequined bodice - I call it the Disco Ballerina look! Let's just say, I'm feeling pretty fabulous today, and Newbury better watch out because the tutu queen is in town!

Breakfast with the Disco Snail My day started with the most adorable thing. I spotted a tiny little snail, wearing a teeny pink tutu just like mine! Talk about twinsies. This little cutie must be a massive #TutTuesday fan! I nicknamed him Disco Snail #discosnail. I’m such a sap, I even snapped a picture for you all, because sharing the joy is what life is all about. You'll find the adorable image over on my Instagram later - come give Disco Snail some love!

Shop 'Til You Drop at The Clothes Stop Alright, my fashionista darlings! Let's get down to business! My first stop was The Clothes Stop, and let me tell you - they know what’s up when it comes to tutus. They had every type you could imagine, from those ultra-poofy Romantic tutus to the classic American tutus (but even those were fabulously glammed up!). * **My favourites?** I ended up buying a classic Black Swan tutu that'll be perfect for Halloween! You know me, always getting my spooky style on. They even had an Alice in Wonderland-inspired tutu - I couldn’t resist snagging it too! The bright red fabric and that tiny white bow... I’m telling you! I'm thinking a special Wonderland theme day next week! * **For those ballet babes:** I found the cutest ballet tutus in beautiful powder blue - think the ultimate ballerina aesthetic. I bought a few as a gift for a fellow ballerina in the #TutTuesday spirit. Let's just say, I left the store a very happy ballerina! If you’re in the Newbury area, I urge you to check out The Clothes Stop. It’s like stepping into a wonderland of fabric and tulle - you can't miss it!

The Best Brunch Spot for a Tutu Queen Now, every good fashion adventure needs a pitstop for some fuel, right? My #TutTuesday brunch was at this quaint cafe called The Cherry Blossom. You guys know me, I can’t resist anything pink and flowery. It was pretty in pink (as you can tell, pink is a huge theme for me) and the food? I mean, I was *living* for those crispy pancakes. And you won't believe it... but the waitress was even rocking a tutu! The cherry on top, literally!

A Tutu Twist on the Classics But listen, we don't just do ballet, honey! This #TutTuesday, I’m bringing a bit of classic fashion into the tutu world, because every day is a fashion show. We can create a whole world from one simple piece of clothing, and I’m here to show you all the ways we can play with it. * **Going for an Edgy Vibe?** Grab yourself a black tutu. You can dress it up with black fishnets and a killer red lip! Want it more rockstar-esque? Go with black boots and leather. Or even rock a tutu-inspired mini dress - they are the best of both worlds! * **Feeling playful?** The sweet and innocent look can’t be beaten with a classic pink tutu and white sneakers! * **For my Boho Beauties?** Pick up an ombre tutu in shades of orange, yellow, and red and match with floral accessories. A bohemian vibe can be dressed down with sneakers or dressed up with cute flats! * **Or go full glam!** Grab your sequined skirt or tutu dress and a silver, gold, or sparkly handbag for that statement look! I just know it’s going to be my go-to look this weekend. Whatever your style is, the tutu can do it! Let's get playful and experimental! I mean, you don’t need to be a ballerina to love a good tutu, right?

Tutu Inspiration at The Museum Next, I made a quick stop at the Newbury Art Gallery. Honestly, they’ve got the best art exhibits ever. I know I should be focusing on the actual artwork, but how can you resist a fabulous gallery with all the potential for #TutTuesday inspiration! And yes, my fellow tutu-lovers, I did. Let’s be honest, who needs a real exhibit when you’ve got all the beauty and style of a tutu-tastic day? **From The Romantic Tutus to The Classic Black Swans** My biggest inspiration was a series of paintings that actually depicted a story about a ballet dancer in different roles and situations! The best part? The paintings were super colourful. The romantic tutues are all soft pink, ivory, and white. The black swans are classic, all about the deep blacks and shimmering silver. I’ve got to admit, I might be taking a page from their design, for my next big photoshoot. Stay tuned!

My #TutTuesday Evening is All About Disco!  I've had an amazing #TutTuesday, Newbury is just as charming as everyone says and I can't wait to explore more next week. Now, as you all know, I like to end a great day with even better music! So my evening is all about disco music! Grab those disco balls and bring out your inner disco queen (and your tutu!). Let’s paint the town pink (and maybe do some twirling too) with all the sparkle and glitter we can muster! And that, my dear readers, is a wrap for my #TutTuesday in Newbury. Don't forget to tag me in your #TutTuesday fashions! And as always, stay stylish!
