The perfect opportunity to rock a poofy classic, a romantic, tiered number, a flirty mini tutu, or even a cheeky mini tutu skirt - anything goes! The aim? To make the world a bit brighter and spark a conversation about embracing self-expression and pride in every form! Today, I saw it all: from sassy tutu-clad ladies enjoying afternoon tea to blokes rocking pink tutus with genuine swagger. A gaggle of young lads with colourful feathered boas added a touch of glam-rock chic, whilst couples strolled hand-in-hand, their matching tutus a testament to their love and unity. And the smiles, oh, the smiles! Infectious laughter and pure joy filled the air as locals of all ages embraced the spirit of Tutu Tuesday. Streatham really did a great job showcasing this quirky movement with pride. It wasn’t just the fashion statement; the air was buzzing with joy. We had an impromptu flash mob outside the iconic Streatham Ice & Roller Rink – the energy was simply electric.
