Okay, fellow fabulous creatures! This Tuesday has been screaming 'Tutu Tuesday' in Deal from the moment I woke up! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and my inner ballerina is feeling fabulously fierce. There's just something about the twirl of a tutu that instantly makes you feel like a princess (or prince - tutus are for everyone, right?!). Deal, as always, is totally rocking the #tututuesday vibe. The air buzzes with an exciting energy that you can't find anywhere else.
Today, my little ballerina heart is particularly buzzing, and it’s all thanks to a very special little shop called ‘Sew Chic’. Sew Chic is the new kid on the block in Deal, and I have to say, they’re totally slaying the game! I walked in and was immediately greeted by an explosion of colour, feathers, and sparkles, and the aroma of fresh fabric was intoxicating. You know, the type of smell that makes you instantly happy and relaxed, right? And the tutu collection? Oh, my word, let me tell you about it! They've got all styles imaginable from classic romantic to fierce, sassy numbers. My own personal favourite is the gorgeous pale pink one, just *slightly* see-through with fluffy layers. So girly and so fabulous! But they also have more dramatic options for the bolder individuals like their daring black feathered tutu or a glorious rainbow explosion of color - and did I mention that they even sell tutus in rainbow stripes?! Talk about supporting LGBTQ+ pride - *Yas queen*! I snagged a glorious sparkly hot pink tutu for today, so let the twirling commence!

The shop is owned by the lovely Maisie. Maisie is so friendly and genuinely passionate about all things sparkly. Her love of dance, theatre, and tutus is truly infectious! Maisie and I have so much in common and are both lovers of the 80s - our chat included plenty of memories from that wonderful decade of disco fever, fabulous shoulder pads and leggings with tutus!
Speaking of dancing, this tutu business definitely wasn’t just for show! I whipped on my hot pink delight and spun like nobody’s business. I took it for a twirl in the gorgeous little cobbled alleyways by the shops of Deal, and I couldn't help but giggle. A lady walked by, looking totally shocked and amused! The people of Deal are clearly loving the tutu trend - there were actually three others in tutus on my walk today. It was pure joy and happiness!
