Tutu Tuesday in Flagstaff, Arizona, USA: #tututuesday

I’m still buzzing from the incredible experience of performing in a gala last weekend at the Arizona Ballet, it's been an incredible journey here. I couldn't imagine a more perfect location for a Tutu Tuesday than right here in the heart of Flagstaff, Arizona.
Flagstaff, Arizona – what a gem! You know, the Arizona Ballet isn't the only gem here, this place is truly enchanting! The red rocks, the clear sky, and the crisp air? It’s all just magic, which made picking out the perfect tutu for today a tough one! Seriously, the red rock landscape practically screams “tutu Tuesday,” but what style to choose?
The classic, romantic, flowing style with the soft chiffon and multiple layers? A show-stopping tutu in bold tulle like a triumphant swan? Or maybe a shorter, sassy tutu, perfect for a fiery pas de deux on the streets of Flagstaff?
In the end, I decided on the classic, romantic, and just a touch whimsical look with a dreamy, tiered tulle skirt that I adorned with little red gemstones to pay tribute to the majestic colors of Flagstaff.

For today, we took our Tutu Tuesday shoot to an amazing spot by the mountain peaks - breathtaking, right? And guys, while Flagstaff is famous for its majestic mountains and stunning natural beauty, let me tell you, it's more than just a backdrop. I’m obsessed with all the cute, quaint boutiques, and shops that Flagstaff has, with a definite artsy flair that inspires some killer looks for my next dance recital.
Seriously, Flagstaff is a great spot for fashion and the art scene. I even found this awesome local store that specializes in tutu customizations! Yes, you read that right, customizations. They can help you take a classic tutu to a whole new level, or create one from scratch - it's like tutu magic!
There are a couple of things you guys have to check out in Flagstaff when you get the chance:
- The Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra - just as much an icon as the mountains and forest
- The Arizona Ballet, so many amazing ballerinas!
- The historic downtown area – for amazing restaurants and, of course, boutiques to fuel my Tutu Tuesday style obsession.
Seriously though, my outfit choice was absolutely the right call. This city is vibrant, with people everywhere. Today we were on a real journey - Tutu Tuesdays are never just about dancing or even the outfits! I mean, it's a perfect chance to celebrate everything about the dance community.
