I’ve been touring around the country with my ballet company, and there’s just something about the way the sun shines on Pearland that makes the energy in the studios here totally electric. Pearland, Texas Ballet Scene - You Won't Believe This And guess what? There’s a new ballet studio popping up on Main Street, Pearland, TX. That's right. The “Pearland Ballet Academy" just opened. Pearland residents are flocking to take classes. I checked it out last week. This place has it all! And guess what the director did for opening day? That’s right, you guys - he declared it “Tutu Tuesday.” Everyone had on a tutu – from the teachers to the little tykes learning to plié. It was seriously cute! New Tutu Designs on Display But I can’t just tell you all about this without sharing my tutu adventures, right? This Tutu Tuesday, I’m rocking a *new* design: a custom-made “Texas Sunset” tutu that I snagged at a tiny boutique shop tucked away in Houston (totally worth the trip, BTW!). This baby has shades of coral, gold, and burnt orange—perfect for channeling those Texan vibes! I even added some cute sequined accents just to jazz it up a bit. But There's More Than Just Style, Y'all Tutus are more than just pretty outfits, though. This whole #tututuesday thing goes beyond the visual. For me, it’s about empowering other dancers and showcasing how ballet is really about pushing boundaries, unleashing our creativity, and expressing ourselves through art.
