Hey dancers and fashionistas! It’s your girl, Chloe, back with another installment of Tutu Tuesday. Today we’re taking a trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Now, Oklahoma City might not be the first place you think of when it comes to ballet. You might be thinking more of New York, San Francisco, or maybe Chicago. But believe me, there’s some serious talent here! From the Oklahoma City Ballet to the various studios and academies around the city, the love of dance is alive and well.

Speaking of the Oklahoma City Ballet, their new production of “Giselle” blew my mind! Talk about tutus! We’re talking the quintessential romantic tutu, a billowing, dreamy cloud of tulle. I’m obsessed. Seriously, who can resist a good, classic Romantic tutu with the full length and graceful, soft shape?

As always, it wouldn’t be Tutu Tuesday without a little fashion talk. And guess what? We’re going beyond the traditional tutu!

Okay, maybe not entirely beyond. The tutu has come a long way since the romantic ballet era. Look, let’s be real. The traditional, floor-length, fluffy romantic tutu isn't for everyone! While I am head-over-heels for the way they dance and float in those long, delicate skirts, sometimes you need a more practical option, especially if you're outside of a professional dance setting.

Luckily, the world of the tutu is ever-expanding. Now we have tutu-inspired dresses and skirts for any occasion. That’s right, you can bring a touch of ballerina chic to your everyday life! You can wear them to a date, to a night out, to a wedding, or just around the city to make a statement.

Let's talk tutu styles for a moment: * **Romantic:** We know these beauties - they're full length, super delicate, floaty and feminine, often made with lots of tulle layers. * **Classical:** Think "Swan Lake" or "The Sleeping Beauty".
