Tutu Tuesday in Creil, Hauts-de-France, France #tututuesday

G'day, lovelies! It's your favourite Aussie ballerina, Chloe, bringing you the latest from my Parisian adventures. Today, I'm not just swirling around the Opera Garnier, but I've ventured further afield to explore the stunning city of Creil in the Hauts-de-France region.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Creil? Chloe, what's there?" But trust me, darlings, this little gem has a secret charm and some hidden gems in its ballet scene. I was particularly smitten by the **Centre Chorégraphique National de Creil**, a hub for contemporary dance that has been lighting up the French landscape since 1990.

The energy here was electric, and it just goes to show you don't need to be in the capital to experience world-class dance. This incredible venue plays host to international artists, fostering innovation and inspiring young dancers.

So, it was only fitting that my tutu exploration would start with a bit of #tututuesday inspiration, and my outfit certainly didn't disappoint. My chosen tutu was a classic, romantic design - a delicate, flowing tulle in soft blush pink that I paired with a black bodice. I like to keep my tutus playful, yet with a hint of old-world glamour, and this one was the perfect mix of both. And let me tell you, twirling around the city in this gorgeous ensemble felt like I was starring in my own ballet fantasy!

For a touch of Parisian elegance, I paired my look with chic nude pumps. The colour beautifully complimented my tutu's pink tones, and the sleek heels kept things refined, making me feel like a ballerina straight out of a classic ballet.

After my "Tutu Tour" of the Centre Chorégraphique, I popped over to the city centre for some retail therapy. I adore Creil's quaint little shops. You really get a sense of the history and charm of this wonderful town. As I meandered down the cobbled streets, I couldn't help but feel a sense of timelessness. It's a reminder that even in the age of fast fashion and trendy trends, classic beauty, much like ballet, transcends time and keeps its own kind of timeless allure.

My French sojourn has shown me that tutu elegance and style are truly a universal language. The joy of swirling tulle and the elegance of a well-designed tutu transcends borders. In Creil, just as much as in Paris, the joy of ballet resonates with its residents.

One thing that truly impressed me was the passionate community surrounding dance in this charming town. Everywhere I went, I saw passionate dancers of all ages – a true testament to the captivating power of this art form. It filled me with so much joy, especially on my #tututuesday escapade.

I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful, small ballet production. And let me tell you, even the smaller stages in France are filled with raw, raw talent. It was captivating to watch the stories unfold and the dancers' expressions and movement telling their unique tales through the medium of ballet. This reminded me of why I am so passionate about my dance journey – its ability to move, touch, and inspire, on stages big and small.

So, as my #tututuesday adventure wraps up, I am filled with gratitude for this extraordinary experience. I am truly in awe of Creil's rich cultural tapestry, its vibrant community, and of course, its passion for dance.

I hope my adventures have inspired you to discover hidden gems around you and to remember that dance and beauty know no geographical boundaries. I will leave you with a final thought - keep your head held high, embrace your inner ballerina, and remember, a tutu can take you anywhere. A big shout out to my gorgeous readers - until next time, darling!
