Tutu Tuesday in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, Ile-de-France, France: #tututuesday Bonjour from sunny Paris, darlings! It's your girl, Claire, bringing you the latest from the world of fashion and, of course, ballet. Today, I'm all about spreading the love for tutus - it's Tutu Tuesday after all! As an Aussie girl with a passion for dance and fashion, I'm always on the lookout for the perfect tutu. It's not just about the dance itself, it's about expressing my individuality and feeling confident. Here in France, the ballet scene is simply divine! The Parisian ballerinas are effortlessly chic, their tutus a testament to the exquisite craftsmanship that's part of the local ballet culture. Today, I decided to rock a classic romantic tutu. The layers of tulle flowed with every twirl, and the soft pink colour reminded me of delicate petals, perfect for a spring day. You know, sometimes a traditional tutu just does the trick. There's nothing more elegant than that airy, whimsical look. My fellow ballet-lovers, did you know that tutus come in so many styles? I mean, there's the pancake tutu, which is super sleek and dramatic, and then the pointed tutu that just exudes elegance and power. Of course, there's also the romantic tutu, which is a personal favourite - and the one I wore today. As I strolled through Montigny-le-Bretonneux, my tutu turned heads, a beacon of elegance amidst the hustle and bustle of the French capital. A couple of little girls even stopped me to ask if they could take a picture! It was heart-warming, knowing that my love for tutus was inspiring them. If you're ever in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, be sure to visit the "ร‰cole de Danse." This is a place where aspiring ballerinas work tirelessly to perfect their art, and the tutors there really know their stuff. They have a deep appreciation for the rich heritage of ballet in France. Let me know which type of tutu is your favourite! Tag me in your tutu photos and use the hashtag #tututuesday. You know, spread the love, you guys. The more tutus in the world, the better! Stay tuned, because next week, I'm going to be exploring some of the lesser-known ballet studios in Paris. You know, the ones with the magic touch! Until then, keep twirling, darlings!
