Let's be real, Tutu Tuesday is basically a national holiday here. France has a pretty strong ballet history, right? Like, did you know that the famous tutu actually originated here back in the 19th century? So, imagine a tutu enthusiast like myself in a place that just *breathes* ballet! It's a pretty exciting moment, right? I mean, imagine strutting your stuff in the street with your own little "balletic" parade because that's pretty much what's happening.
There's an incredible vibe here in Bondoufle, and Tutu Tuesday really amps it up. From the little ballet studio tucked away in the corner to the beautiful parks, everyone seems to be joining in on the fun, strutting their stuff in a tutu! Paired it with a black leotard and some gorgeous ballet flats, and let me tell ya, I felt like a total ballerina!
And trust me, I wasn't the only one rocking the tutu life. I stumbled upon this fabulous group of women, all wearing these beautiful, long tutus. We struck up a conversation, and turns out, they were all local ballet dancers. Now, they weren't your average professional ballerinas – these ladies were just passionate about dance, expressing their love of ballet in this unique and fun way.
And talking about embracing that unique style... While classic tutus are still iconic, let me tell you, it was amazing to see the variety in everyone's tutus today! We saw all types of tutus— the long flowing ones (you know the kind they wear in "Swan Lake"?
