Sydney, New South Wales #tututuesday

Hey, darlings! It's your fave ballerina back with another #tututuesday post. Can you believe it's already Tuesday again? Feels like I was just doing pliés in my studio yesterday! But, no time to dwell on the whirlwind of life - gotta chat about what matters: TUTUS!

Speaking of whirlwinds, you guys wouldn't believe what happened this past weekend. I went to a ballet workshop in the city, led by a former Paris Opera Ballet dancer. Can you imagine, learning from a Parisian ballerina, right here in Sydney! It was so surreal, like stepping into a scene from "Black Swan," only less, you know, *intense*. 😅

Anyway, the best part was getting to see the stunning tutus the dancer brought with her! Not those boring, classic tutus we're used to. Nope! These were works of art! Like seriously, I felt like I was at the Met Gala! She brought this dreamy white tulle tutu that floated around her like a cloud, it was absolutely *magical*. Then there was a crimson velvet one, with this intricate, beaded pattern that sparkled in the studio light. It felt like royalty.

Of course, as a dedicated #tututuesday follower, I have to give you the lowdown on the styles. The white one, it was what you'd call a Romantic tutu - you know, all billowing and delicate, kind of like those Victorian fairy tale princesses. I could imagine myself swirling around on stage in it, becoming one with the ethereal music. 🥰

The red one, now *that* was a Classical tutu. A bit more structure, more tailored, you could tell it was meant for powerful movements and demanding choreography. Like the sort of choreography you see at the Bolshoi, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here... I just need to nail my basic tendu! 😂

Talking about Sydney, it’s crazy to think about the incredible talent we have here. We’re surrounded by fantastic dancers. We're home to the Australian Ballet, you guys. It’s a seriously big deal! I’ve been lucky enough to catch a few shows there. Seriously, you gotta check out their website if you haven’t already. They often do special events and performances. There are even masterclasses!

But, no need to feel like you have to be a professional ballerina to embrace #tututuesday, okay? There’s a tutu style for everyone out there. Love the flowy look? Go for a Romantic tutu! Like a touch of drama and structure? Get yourself a Classical tutu! And if you wanna break some hearts and break some dance floors? You gotta try out a demi-tutu – that short, fierce kind that looks incredible for contemporary dance routines.

Don’t forget to rock a #tututuesday look and tag me in your pics, babe. I’m always on the lookout for some amazing tutu style inspo. Have a lovely week, you beautiful creatures!
