Fremantle, Western Australia: #tututuesday

Hey darlings! It's your girl, Chloe, back with another #tututuesday post, straight from the vibrant streets of Fremantle. Today's theme? Taking the tutu outside the barre and onto the cobblestones!

As you know, Fremantle is all about embracing that bohemian vibe. With its historical charm, street art murals, and buzzing markets, this place just oozes creative energy. So, it's the perfect setting to ditch the traditional studio and showcase some tutu-tastic looks, don't you think?

Let's talk about tutu styles for a second. It's not just about the classic, billowing, romantic tutu anymore, you know. There's a whole new world of tutu-inspired looks out there. For today's adventures, I went for a short, sleek, black tutu. It was all about modern and chic - a little bit edgy, but still giving off that signature ballet feel.

Tutu Style Inspo:

  • For a casual yet chic look, pair your tutu with a white t-shirt and a denim jacket.
  • Feeling bold? Try a black leather jacket and ankle boots for a tougher edge.
  • For a bohemian twist, wear it with a flowy blouse and sandals.

I decided to start my day by grabbing some brekkie at a super cute cafรฉ called "The Little Bean". With a coffee in hand and a sunny disposition, I headed over to the iconic Fremantle Markets.

The Fremantle Markets were a riot of colour, with a myriad of local artisans and food stalls bursting with personality. The markets were practically buzzing with energy! It was the perfect place to unleash some tutu-tastic flair.

From there, I wandered down to the Fremantle Harbour and took in the breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. As I twirled on the pier, I realised just how liberating wearing a tutu can be. You feel playful, you feel powerful, and you just feel ready to take on the world.

And speaking of taking on the world, did you know that Australia is booming with the ballet scene? We've got some of the most incredible dance companies, choreographers, and dancers in the world. We're truly leading the charge when it comes to contemporary ballet, which I find so inspiring.

Back to #tututuesday, though. Let's get into some tips for rocking a tutu anywhere, anytime:

  • Confidence is key, babe. Strut your stuff like you own the dance floor.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different colours, textures, and lengths.
  • And most importantly, have fun!

If you're in Perth or Western Australia, I strongly suggest you grab your tutu and head down to Fremantle. You won't regret it!

Love you lots, Chloe
