Tutu Tuesday in the Glass House Mountains, Queensland

Hey beautifuls, it's your favourite ballerina blogger back with another edition of #tututuesday, and this time we're taking the twirls to the gorgeous Glass House Mountains in sunny Queensland!

As a dancer, I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting places to dance, and the Glass House Mountains were calling my name. The dramatic rock formations, towering above the lush green landscape, are truly awe-inspiring. They offer the perfect backdrop for some serious tutu twirls.

Now, you might be thinking "Tutus in the bush?" And, to that I say, why not! After all, ballet is for everyone, no matter where you are in the world. I brought a few different styles to the mountains today to give you all some inspiration for your own #tututuesday outings, whether it be in the park or on the beach.

  • Classic Romantic Tutu: We started off with the quintessential, airy Romantic Tutu with multiple layers of tulle that make it feel like you're floating on air, perfect for catching the wind amongst the cliffs. Think *Giselle*, light and flowing. This is always a great option for a more traditional, elegant look, or, as in this case, for something dreamy and ethereal amongst nature.
  • The Tutus with a Twist: This day was a great opportunity for playing with color! For a modern, sassy vibe, I put on my black and white checked, layered tutu, paired with some stylish black sneakers - a nod to the modern ballet world.
  • The Sparkly Tutu: And to take things up a notch (or two!), I rocked my beaded, crystal adorned tutu, fit for a queen! I'm sure you can imagine how sparkling it looked under the Queensland sun. You simply can't go wrong with some added sparkle in your life - even in the heart of nature.

I encourage you all to embrace your inner ballerina and head out to your own magical, tutu-filled spots! Share your #tututuesday pics with me on Instagram and we'll all inspire each other.

Speaking of tutu inspiration, don't forget about the rich and thriving ballet scene here in Australia. We have world-class ballet companies like The Australian Ballet, as well as a wealth of talent in regional companies and schools. Keep an eye out for performances happening in your local area!

So, that wraps up this #tututuesday from the Glass House Mountains, Queensland! Have a beautiful week, you guys, and happy dancing!
