Tutu Tuesday in Moree, New South Wales: A Celebration of Whimsy and Grace #tututuesday Well, hello there, fellow twirling enthusiasts! It’s your girl, Chloe here, and I’m so excited to be back with you all for another installment of Tutu Tuesday! This week, we're heading out to the heart of New South Wales – the beautiful, bustling, and absolutely delightful city of Moree. It's known for its stunning artesian springs, rich Aboriginal culture, and… you guessed it… its tutu-loving community! I’ve heard rumours about a fab Tutu Tuesday gathering there, and who am I to resist a little tulle and fun in the sun? I'm a big fan of ballet and, let's face it, everything looks better in a tutu. It’s an instant dose of whimsical charm. I’ve found that, despite our diverse lives, from performing with the Australian Ballet to running a blog, we all share that special spark ignited by a well-chosen tulle masterpiece. We all know that tutus come in a spectrum of styles. You've got your classic, romantic tutus, perfect for that ethereal princess look, or those fierce, pointed tutus that radiate an undeniably strong ballerina vibe. Then, there’s the ever-versatile tutu-inspired fashions: the layered tulle skirts, the ballet-inspired accessories... the possibilities are endless! My Tutu Tuesday look in Moree: This week, I’m channeling my inner "black swan". My chosen tutu is a beautiful charcoal number. Think gothic, but with a playful, flirty touch. I’m pairing it with a sheer black bodysuit, a black satin ribbon tied around my hair (you can never have too much sparkle!), and a pair of bold silver earrings. I mean, a ballerina can’t be caught out without some glam, right? Where to find your perfect Tutu Tuesday fit in Moree: It turns out Moree has a great little dancewear shop called "Steps on Pointe," where they've got the most stunning collection of tutus. It's got everything from basic practice tutus for your beginner ballerina moments to the most fabulous show-stopping pieces. The owner, a former professional dancer named Jess, is absolutely amazing. We chatted all things tutus, and I picked up some helpful tips. I mean, who needs to Google things when you can get direct expert advice, right? Jess's passion for dance really shines, and it's clear why her shop has a bit of a reputation. Things to do on your Tutu Tuesday adventure: * Go for a swim at the artesian baths. I mean, you just can’t come to Moree without diving in! It's a surreal experience. Imagine gliding through crystal-clear, turquoise water. A true escape! Don’t worry about the tutus, it's totally safe (and you'll probably have a blast snapping photos!) * Visit the National Cultural Institute, A chance to embrace the beauty of Indigenous culture through their incredible collection of artwork and exhibitions. They’re always hosting exciting workshops and events, and who knows, maybe you'll even stumble upon a hidden talent you never knew you had! * Experience the Moree's street life! There's always a fantastic buzz. The shops are quaint and charming. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to get inspired for future Tutu Tuesday outings. You never know what hidden gem you'll discover. Just keep your eyes open for inspiration. My final thoughts: Moree is truly a place of warmth and beauty, where even the tutu game is next level. I had an absolutely unforgettable time! I’m so inspired to continue to embrace my Tutu Tuesday joy wherever my dancing feet take me. If you happen to find yourself in Moree on a Tuesday (or, honestly, any day) take my advice: embrace your inner ballerina and go on your own Tutu Tuesday adventure! And remember to share your twirling stories and photos with me – I can’t wait to see how you get creative! Don't forget to use #tututuesday, #Moree and #NSW, to make sure you’re joining in on the global tutu community. Keep twirling, darlings!
